It's always wise to judge things based on results, not promises. I still agree with Adept: While the lack of offline mode is disappointing it's not the end of the world, and should be taken for what it is. Frontier is not the next game development messiah, they have practical and human limits. They said they'd provide feature updates and additions free of charge aside from the paid expansions, and I don't think anyone has to be wary about them going back on their word there. The only question is, how substantial these free additions are going to be. We already heard from Michael that mining isn't going to change a lot, for example. So let's wait and see, shall we?
