Tough choice ... I surely love the Polar foxes , because they look so damn cute and still real - it's just a cute animal ;-)
I also like the cassowary, because they look SO natural. Same applies to the crocs, especially the caiman. It looks so photo-realistic. The animators really did a great job!

My favorites and why:

Base Game: Okapi (exotic, mysterious and elegant)
Deluxe Edition: Pygmy hippo (cutest babies on earth)
Arctic Pack: Reindeer (the dearest deer I have ever seen)
South America: Giant Anteater (such a beautiful model - my favorite from my childhood plus they are fierce and can even fight with jaguars)
Australia: Cassowary (eyes, skin, moves)
Aquatic: Giant Otter (so fun to watch - I make exibits for them, sit, relax and enjoy them for hours)
Southeast Asia: Babirusa (weirdest animal in the game and the males when they fight with each other it’s a spectacle)
Africa: White rhino (I know that I’m repeating myself but have you seen their babies??? Cuteness personified also when the adults turn on their backs it’s a behavior so perfectly implemented)
North America: Beaver (first rodent in the game and so perfectly made - aquatic animals have their own magic)
Europe: Eurasian lynx (already mentioned that in my previous post but the sounds they can produce is the weirdest and cutest thing I have ever heard in my entire life)

I’m sorry for those who would feel annoyed by me constantly mentioning this but Malayan tapir with no doubt would be my all time favorite if it would ever get a remodel. It’s my beloved animal of all times and seeing it like it is now right now makes me really sad every time when I play the game.

Why do I love them? simple: they are the coolest creatures on earth with their colors, curious trunks and smiles they can make 🙃

The tapir, it has so many enrichments and is very lively and fun to watch, I really enjoy making habitats for them.

Choosing is basically impossible, mostly because my answer will differ any day. But the Babirusa, the Okapi and the Moose are definitely up there for me! The Clouded Leopard would have been at the top if not for the climbing glitches. I also really love the Alpine Ibex, the Dall Sheep and the Pygmy Hippo, and most of the monkeys.

Gosh, so many. SO many.

I really like the Ibex from the Europe DLC, and I've spent a considerable amout of time just following them around their habitat, watching their cute little kids clip-clop over rocks.

I also do the same for the North American cougars. Their floofy kittens are just too sweet.

And then there are the puffy baby birds. The albino peafowl chicks look like pudgy seagulls and are SO cute.

But I also really getting different colours of fallow deer and llamas, and I enjoy building climbing frames for the small, active climbers.

And watching red pandas sleep.

Haha, learn to control your emotions and expectations then and let go of the fear of missing out. When update or DLC gets announced you'll notice soon enough ^^ It's no competition to be the first to see/read/know of the DLC.

I honestly cant just say I have 1 favorite animal... I have quite a few actually. As of late, I'd have to say that my favorite, in no particular order, is the Komodo Dragon, Nile Monitor and North American Alligator. However, I do also LOVE the Meerkat, Prairie Dog and also the Southern Cassowary and the penguins. I'm all over the map to be honest. Like I said, I can't say i have only 1 favorite animal.
