Absolutely. I'm going to be armed as well this time, so might amend my details for fighter escort too. I have been to beagle point, but alone via Sagittarius Scutum in my asp about two years ago.
I registered for the Distant worlds 2 expedition within a day or two after it was first announced. I'm on the roster on the google sheet docs, but just checked the Fleet Roster on EDSM and discovered that I'm not on the list (There is a gap in the numbering). I've been on EDSM since January, but not on the EDSM roster. I also see that it is shown as closed. How do I add my details to the EDSM list if it is now shown as closed?

You may want to check the spelling of your Cmdr name, otherwise contact Anthor.
There’s a DWE2 roster also on EDSM???
It's taken from the spreadsheet, so nothing more for us to do. As long as we're registered here, we should be on the EDSM list.
I've just searched "Nagi" and "Dr." and with both i couldn't find myself. Then I tried going with the roster number and there's just a gap where it's supposed to be...
Does the spelling match between your EDSM name and the name you submitted for the roster? If it's even slightly different then Anthor's upload probably discarded you as not-on-EDSM...

Ingame name is: Dr.Nagi ... Exact same spelling, just here on the forum it's different with a space behind the dot. Don't know if that's the reason then...
There's a space on the roster so that's probably it and should be easy enough to sort if you let Anthor know.
With all the new stuff that showed in the Chapter 4 beta, I wonder if there's a case for taking a research limpet controller. Thoughts?
I'm planning on doing just that, in case. Hoping it has more uses than just collecting Thargoid samples.
From what we've seen, it will definitely do something, but we don't know how useful it'll be just yet.

At the moment I’m still thinking of taking my pythonx, but since I don’t beta I don’t know if the Beyond new capabilities will change that.
I’m confused over the new mining capabiliites. Not really into mining at the moment but I have a mining laser or two fitted to my exploration ships to be able to get jumponium mats should I lose my SRV. Is the mining laser now defunct & should I replace it with an abrasian blaster? Or does the mining laser still fulfil that need? I gather we’ll have a slot freed up so could take another limpet controller; already have hull repair & was thinking of a fuel limpet to help out anyone in need but of course we’ll have a fuel rat contingent in the fleet so that would be unnecessary.

I'm also taking a python, which like anything else, gets an extra slot from not needing the ADS. I'm not taking mining lasers, but only because I fully intend to take a size 6 srv bay, and a full suite of weapons to become fighter escort. (They were all going to be lasers, but might take something else now to reduce my power draw so I don't need to fit a larger PP, and got an extra shield booster instead.
That said, I won't be fully finalising my build until closer to launch, but my jump range will be under 45ly, possibly as low as 40 in the end (he says fully aware that's a better jump range than a pre-engineering Asp).
Edit, I really wanted to like the Krait Phantom, but in terms of internals, everything's a bit small for what I want to take.

I confirm what ian666 said, the space is likely to be the culprit. I removed it so you should be on the EDSM roster next time Anthor uploads the .csv.
