Hi
Been using my edtracker constantly since I got me new one, love it. Tested a bit with Open Track but the roll option makes things a bit tricky for me, but a good feature.
But the reason I'm here is...I play other games (yes, not just Elite

) mainly MMORPG type games, in this instance the mmo known as rift (no, not the occulus rift, but the game rift). A lot of these games use "mouse look" to look around, e.g. hold right mouse button down and move the mouse to look around. I would love to be able to do this with EdTracker as this would make controlling these types of games pretty easy.
I've spent a few hours searching on google trying to find info on whether this was possible, but so far I've not found much of any use.
I know you can use opentrack to emulate a mouse but this takes complete control of the mouse and doesn't let you use the mouse with it.
Also there is no support for joysticks in this particular game.
Does anyone know if this is possible with a device like edtracker and Opentrack? It would have to emulate holding the right mouse button down while looking around.
Thoughts please
