Give it 24 hours, I'm sure Bex will get round to you, you should receive an email confirming you're on the waiting list - we'll then get in touch with you when a device is ready and built up. I think I recall seeing you on the list tbh, so don't worry.... ;) !

Hi - DO I do this in the "contact me" section of your website or somewhere else?

(and nice writeup on the problems of MWO - I've also played mechwarrior games since No.1 and thought about playing this a lot, but from what you say I think I'll steer clear.)

Kit bundle ordered from hobbycomponents. Couldn't help but also send a request form for one of the printed PCB. Hope to receive em soon.
Gonna start getting weird looks from Mrs soon with all the stuff around me when Eliting(if that word didnt exist it does now) :)

Well I just calibrated everything and it works great!! Unbeatable value, and fun to assemble too :) Great work guys, thanks for doing the leg work, and also making those PCBs.

Yeah, was a great shame really :( I soooo wanted that game to be something else. If only it had stuck to the Frontier philosophy.

Use the edtracker website contact form - www.edtracker.org.uk - not my personal one.

Cheers,
Dan

Thanks! Thanks for getting this to work in Opentrack. Thanks for putting yet another excellent tutorial video out. Thanks for using Arma3 as an example in said video. And of course: thanks for creating this beautiful EDTracker in the first place :)
I'm having so much fun right now, it's incredible how much more immersive a game like ED, SC or Arma 3 is with a headtracker. Wow!

Still no sign of any confirmation, should I reorder?

Just a quick note. Opentrack had a few changes in the last couple of days. You no longer configure axis settings from the joystick input plugin. It has been moved to the mapping section, last tab on the right. See pic below.

Otherwise it is essentially the same as in the tutorials.

I missed that video? Got a link?

That's great thanks!

So we're really just waiting for the option to turn off autocentering :)

There has also been talk of a version of EDTracker with the magnetometers, ie: so its auto centering is not even necessary anymore. What's the current state of this? Do any of the EDTrackers even have this in? I assume not as it would require a different sensor/chip?

Rob's got a version of it but he's not happy with it yet, and he's been waylayed re-writing the GUI for the last 2 weeks to .NET. I've been sorting out the website, Opentrack instructions, the online shop (almost there!) and getting a new batch of revised PCBs done (no Cobra :[ )... Dorian's been building like mad to take the load off us...!

The mag code should be next on the list...

Different topic. I now have a stable edtracker using windows 8.1. It has been quite a journey and in the end it is rather simple to do, when one knows how. Would it be worth adding win 8.1 instructions on your website?

Cheers for the update.

Going to be interesting to see how the EDTracker runs without the auto-centering :)

Will also be interesting to see how many of us folk "upgrade" to the mag version if/when that's released.

Anyway, thanks again for the help etc!

Sure, what needs doing? I'll add it up...

Can I safely order the kit on the Hobby Components site with the 9150 board and be confident this is the one the devs are working on?

Yup!

Where can I download v2.20.4 ? All I can find on the website is the following cryptic news item:
http://www.edtracker.org.uk/index.php/11-news/30-release-v2-20-4

I can't see anything labelled "2.20.4" on these pages:
http://www.edtracker.org.uk/index.php/downloads/category/2-software
http://www.edtracker.org.uk/index.php/downloads/category/4-gui

Sorry about this (probably really) dumb question.

If you're building from source, it's what's on GitHub (click the Source Code menu item).

If you're just flashing using the GUI or command-line EDTracker utility, it's the one numbered 2.20.4 in the list. The latest is always the one titled "EDTracker2".

I still can't see anything labelled "2.20.4" . What is the URL of "the list"?
