DLC 19 Speculation

Personally i think a snake should be able to stretch out completely, so imo the minimum size should be 1x0,5 the length of the snake. Which is also the legal requirement set out by the government where i am (although i realize that those unfortunately arent a thing everywhere) . And since zoos should be a role model for animals you could also keep as pets, it ideally should be bigger in a zoo
Yeah. The anaconda I'm talking about must be a small one, because he's pretty stretched out when I see him. But I can understand the sizes thing. Just reminds me of how the exhibits need some TLC

What interspecies enrichment bonuses and biomes do you think the confirmed animals will have?

Also I'm a coati now, I am manifesting it to be in this pack.
Coyote none
Sheep: Bison, pronghorn, prairie dog and peccary seem reasonable
Rhea: Tapir, capybara, anteater, lama, alpaca, maybe armadillo and maned wolf?
Saki: Probably the same as the capuchin, so tapir, capy, peccary, anteater, aswell as the cpauchin itself
Flamingo: Capybara and tapir for sure

By the way, I've been wondering for a while now: Why don't the Black-Tailed Prairie Dog and Pronghorn Antelope (possibly Collared Peccary as well) have interspecy with each other?
It's recomended to not mix animals that create they own borrows (like merkats and prairie dogs) with big ungulates because theres a chance the ungulates might get stuck or break they legs thanks to the borrows, i think thats why.

I have heard that it is not recommended for slender-legged lightweight ungulates to mix with burrowing animals like prairie dogs, because there is a high risk of them misplacing a foot into a burrow and falling and breaking a leg.

Ah, I see. And I guess the bison are not concerned because they have bigger legs?

Some places do successfully mix bison and prairie dogs - like this display that was/is at Whipsnade Zoo. I guess it depends partly on the size of the enclosure and number of prairie dogs - most places I have seen may keep them adjacent to each other without keeping them together, so there may still be concerns about tripping hazards. There is also the fact that, in the wild, bison do tend to naturally gravitate towards prairie dog towns where the grass is richest, so that may have been what prompted their interspecies bonus.

That just looks like a wild prairie haha

The "North American Great Plain" biome feels like Bison is desperately trying to hang out with his old pal Pronghorn and Prairie Dog, but they hate each other since the former destroyed the latter's house and broke his leg in the process so now everytime the room is either dead silent or they fall into a screaming contest. Meanwhile, Peccari drinks one beer and then pretends he has to work early tomorrow but actually he's gonna join the last party thrown by his Latin friends at Capybara's place (by the time he arrives, Capy is already drunk and twerking on someone's head).

The area of the display tank is definitely sufficient, 16 square meters is comparable to a bedroom. In fact, except for those with body sizes similar to those of adult Komodo dragons, current display tanks are absolutely sufficient for most amphibians and reptiles.
Just gonna leave this suggestion here:
