I'm still betting on Latin America animal pack
ah yes 1 bear or 32 seals and like 40 cats.
The difference between the bear and rhino situation is that everyone (but me) has been happy since we got an african rhino the others dont offer anything besides a good conservation story. Bears and ratites have always offered something new a south American representative or being a desert bear for example the only one that didnt really was the sloth bear. However we have always wanted more ratites bears only really became a big talking point after the sloth bear because of ultimately how close we were and how important the ones left seemed.
Also I would like to point out that even though we say we want to complete the ratites we dont actually we just want one from each distinct group no one is asking for 2 rhea 2 ostrich 3 cassowary and 5 kiwi for the same reasons as no one wants 3 asian rhino.
Central America is kinda off the table with the rhea and saki.
It will probably come down to either latin america or just americas
I know I have always been against the inclusion of subspecies for this specific reason because now we need 3 brown bears to cover what could of been done in 1This could've been all avoided if we just had a single brown bear that represented all 3 continents
I would certainly like the possibility of 4 birds in a pack but if 2/4 of them don't interest me then it doesn't mean that much to me
Its just a personal preference thing I would prefer a lot of other birds that I can actually think of what to build for over these 2 oddballs that I've never seen in zoos and have no idea what to do with them. I just don't see them as exciting to build for in comparison to something like a white stork or pelican.
To be completely honest I'm terrible with geography, I was too busy reading fanfiction in class, so I appreciate this

Plot twist: the planet zoo devs ball and add the brown pelican as one of the remaining 2 species.
Latin America's or America's. If its America's chances are the last 2 animals will be 1 from each continent North and South.
Honestly, that would be awesome.
my top picks are still coati and mara, but there are a number of animals that would make me really happy: brown pelican, southern screamer, scarlet ibis, roseatte spoonbill, jabiru, burrowing owl, roadrunner, ocelot, squirrel monkey, howler monkey, tamandua, gian armadillo, brazilian tapir and marsh deer.
Maybe wrong thread, but that would bump the Caribbean up to a Green in my eyes. Only thing holding it back is the lack of the Cuban crocodile.
But the American Flamingo (my hope and prediction for this next pack) and Brown Pelican (here’s hoping!) would be an amazing interspecies duo.
Caribbean needs manatee.
I hadn’t really seen either species up until recently but after seeing so much inspiration at Fort Worth, DWA, Brookfield and San Diego Safari Park, it would be really fun to build an arid American zoo focusing on desert wildlife from the Americas.

Some thoughts and questions about the next Planet Zoo update
Hi everyone!
I’ve been thinking about what we might expect from the upcoming update and wanted to share a few ideas and open up the discussion.
Do you think there’s a chance we’ll see a flexicolor upgrade for base game pieces and older DLCs, similar to what we got with the Europe pack? Personally, I feel that would be even more exciting than getting new pieces — it would really breathe new life into the items we already have and expand our creative options.
Another point: some elements from Planet Coaster 2 would fit perfectly into Planet Zoo. The small garden walls and especially the invisible editable fonts would be fantastic additions. The latter, in particular, would make creating signs and labels in Planet Zoo much more intuitive and versatile.
Considering the western theme of the latest Planet Coaster 2 pack, and the rumors of an American-themed DLC for Planet Zoo, I believe some of these pieces could potentially be shared or adapted across both games. That would add a nice layer of cohesion between them.

Here is part of the Stone Zoo, with the area in Blue being the Sierra Nevada section. Here are the animals we have in game already that you can use to recreate it:
- Collared peccary
- Jaguar
- Puma
- Gila monster
- Mexican red knee tarantula (good substitute for what is in the zoo)
- Diamondback rattlesnake (good substitute for what is in the zoo)
- Coati
- Falcon
- Roadrunner
- Bats (not a fruit bat species)
So this whole section can now be made in Planet Zoo with some missing animals. Still, you have no scarlet ibis, no Barrow’s goldeneye, no macaws, no bush dog, and Jamaican iguana. However using the Antilles iguana would work fine enough.
As much as I want u to get the Gray Fox, if Frontier r putting Gray Fox and Coyote at the same pack.. oh lord... Frontier better pack their stuff and run as fast as they canOh dang, theoretically we could get a gray fox in this pack
