DLC 19 Speculation

How would yall feel if we got alligator snapping turtles as habitat animals? I think they could relatively neat, better as exhibit but could be some fun! Zoos like North Carolina and Fort Worth mix have the in large outdoor habitats with land and have secondary habitats to mixed with alligators. I think their habitat addition could be really fun!

I think for them to be realistic they would be very boring hábitat animals. Is an animal i want for the game but it doesn't really work as either system right now (if exhibit boxes we're fully customizables with null walls and scenery then sure, i could build a pond around that and place the turtle in the bottom of it).

Hmm... I'd say just like green anaconda, it could work as exhibit but then It'd be better for them to add one-tank medium/large displays. Habitats would be a lot of work to make interesting, but it isn't impossible imo. I love to give them underwater parts that visitors can see through glass walls, though I think it's not super well implemented at the moment.

they provide nothing for me tbh. would not want. in real life they barely move, in my method of playing they'd be better as small pieces lol

Personally i think a snake should be able to stretch out completely, so imo the minimum size should be 1x0,5 the length of the snake. Which is also the legal requirement set out by the government where i am (although i realize that those unfortunately arent a thing everywhere) . And since zoos should be a role model for animals you could also keep as pets, it ideally should be bigger in a zoo
maybe it will be the excuse frontier needs to make different sized exhibit boxes

I would want them as habitat animals but im in the minority who thinks nothing should ever be forced in the box of shame.

I'm mixed. While I would love to build something for them, they would work much better as regular exhibit animals. Most of the time, they're completely motionless, and 4m by 4m is larger than what they'd get in most real zoos.

That's the other big reptile i want for the exhibit box haha. Is a quintessential SA animal. I need it.

Random thought but I would love to see the Yellow backed duiker if we got another African ungulate species - could fit into an Old World Pack or another Africa centric pack like Central Africa Animal Pack
