Wow, okay, I wasn't expecting that at all today. Got a lot going on my life so some bad picks in a zoo game are the least of my worries right now, but I can't say a honey badger or another elephant subspecies (and that's coming from someone who has elephants as her favorite animal period) excite me too much. A third monkey in a row is incredible though, this is the sort of thing I've been wanting to see for a long time and I'm happy Frontier are binging the groups that actually need catching up - and even if they don't here this is one of the few regions where I won't be disappointed by another bovid (unless it's a caprid, not another please). Deer could be alright too for the inevitable ungulate spot (which yeah I'm sorry I still hope it's only one or two at most, even less for carnivorans since there's no essentials left for me in this region, leaving it at the badger would be ideal), but if we get another larger deer species over a muntjac I might be a little bummed - though I'll still take it over a lot of other ungulate options.
Unless we get a good bird or two, though, ironically I think the prospect of getting some more basic/versatile elephant scenery excites me the most about this lol (certainly far more than the animal itself). Hoping to finally get a second waterfowl, second crane, a first stork, another galliforme (another Asia pack missing on a pheasant would be wild, that's like one of the most no-brainer inclusions left IMO), etc though, and that this isn't just an artiodactyl/carnivoran fest.

Not exactly the species I’ve had in mind but I would take anything from China - dream come true would be Père David’s deer and snub nosed monkey in it
The developers would have to recode the achievement to make that work. Would they actually do that? If they tried would they be successful and not introduce bugs?

I get the feeling this will be an India-focused Asian Animal Pack. The elephants on the cover are likely just to convey the theme more concretely given how associated with India elephants are. It would be more ridiculous than the Arctic Wolf’s addition imo to have another Asian Elephant added.

I am pumped, honestly I wouldn't even be to mad about the elephant as long as we get a bird, but besides that I got a prediction, India pack feels most likely so

"Two different breeds" does not exclude having three breeds in game (lets put aside that breed is not the correct term anyway). It just means that you need only two different to fullfill the challenge.
Best case scenario for me :

4. Zebu
5. Indian runner duck
6. Himalayan monal
7. Demoiselle crane
Sad that the current trend means no king cobra...and yes, I'm gunning for two domestics that are both extremely common in zoos while also being more unique than standard European/American barnyard fare. If that's too much swap the zebu for a nilgai or gaur, or if we're keeping expectations low swap the duck for one of those two.

That honey badger is fantastic! So far two of my most wanted animals from India, this pack is looking better than the Américas pack for me based on my wishlist haha
Why elephants though? Another slot wasted in a clone of an animal that doesn't even need that much of a remake tbh. Bornean, sri lankan? Idc tbh.
