DLC20 Discussion (maybe, but why not?)

Carnivorans - Pacific Walrus
Ungulates - Muskox
Primates - Golden Lion Tamarin
Other Mammals - Patagonian Mara
Birds - Great White Pelican
Reptiles - River Turtle

Sure I got a few pack ideas I can throw into the ring, for now ill start with:

Savannah Animal Pack
Secretary Bird
Serval
Grey Crowned Crane
Helmeted Guineafowl
Gerenuk
Golden Jackal
Blackbuck
King Cobra (doing an exhibit here cos i cant think of scenery off the top of my head)
Haha I can agree with that, I mean by the time this pack's out, most of the scenery pieces you'd see in safaris would be in game already 😅

Also isn't blackbuck an Asian antelope? 😅😅

Edit: Ah but you said it's savannah animal pack , my bad 😋

What is everyones most wanted habitat animal for each of these groups now?

Carnivorans - Southern Elephant Seal
Ungulates - Shetland Pony
Primates - Black-&-Gold Howler
Other Mammals - Matschie's Tree-Kangaroo
Birds - Superb Lyrebird
Reptiles - Argentine Black-and-White Tegu

What is everyones most wanted habitat animal for each of these groups now?
Carnivorans - Raccoon Dog/ South American Coati/ Fishing Cat
Ungulates - Blackbuck/Grevy's Zebra and more
Primates - Geoffroy's Spider Monkey/Mantled Guereza
Other Mammals - Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
Birds - Great White Pelican/Victorian Crowned Pigeon; MACAWS Heck it's too many tbh
Reptiles - False Gharial, any chameleons; just give us a terrarium pack or sth!!

Here’s my prediction for the next and likely final DLC:

Equatorial Animal Pack (Estimated Oct. 14)
Banded Palm Civet
Blackbuck
Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo
Nile Crocodile
Nilgai
Secretary Bird
Short-Beaked Echidna

Anniversary Animal: American Black Bear

I gotta say, I’m a big fan of the Americas pack. I think it’s well rounded and has a lot of great species I’m excited to build for.
To me it's about as rounded as a square. Missed lots of marks while giving us more of what's already had good representation instead of purely patching up the rough spots in our roster.

Guys, I just thought of a wacky but potentially good idea.

The new Americas Pack features a scenario where Dominic Myers seems to be atoning for his past deeds.
What if the future DLCs features regional themes such as India and Japan with scenarios where Myers revisits some of these locations and restarts with the new clean slate until he reconciles with the Goodwins?

Edit: I can see some ideas already:
India Animal Pack (Myers' Animal Entertainment Park)
East Asia Animal Pack (Yamaguchi Prefecture Tranquillity Zoo)
Amazonia Animal Pack (Myers Rainforest Conservation Project)
Tundra Animal Pack (Myers Sunshine Happiness Zoo) etc

Carnivorans - South American Coati
Ungulates - Reeves' Muntjac
Primates - Guianan Squirrel Monkey
Other Mammals - Rock Hyrax
Birds - White Stork
Reptiles - Argentine Black-and-White Tegu
Carnivorans: Coati
Ungulates: Reeves Muntjac
Primates: Cotton Top Tamarin (but as a contrarian the coppery titi would be fire aswell)
Other Mammals: Short Beaked Echidna
Birds: White faced whistling duck
Reptiles: #FreeTheIguanas

I refuse to elaborate the reasoning, i genuinly have doneso for each species atleast 10 times and my takes here are anything but hot

Whatever is next in line im now 100% confindent that stuff like the tree roo or spider monkey is just completely off the table at this point.
Because if there is no production budget to do a complex animal like that in this pack, its not in any pack.
Yeah same for the secretary bird.

On that note for a Safari pack i expect something like

1. Grey crowned crane
2. Serval
3. Honey badger
4. Olive baboon / Another zebra/giraffe
5. Greater kudu
6. Impala
7. Bat eared Fox / Aardwolf

Using the Top 25 of the meta wishlist, here's what I think could be realistically expected
Green Check = Pealistic
Yellow squiggle = Possible
Red Cross = Unrealistic

How is a southern ground hornbill more likely then a Pelican or Tree Kangaroo? I do agree with your green and yellow picks, but personally I feel that the coati, tree kangaroo, pelican, and Mara all are possible, but that's just my opinion.

IMO, the hornbill not needing swimming/diving or climbing means it's not that difficult to derive from the chicken. Though granted, some proportions may be off.

I wasn't saying it's not possible, personally I really hope we get one, I am just saying how is the Pelican, which can easily be a tweaked swan, or the mara, that could use the baby capy (or maybe Gazelle) as a base.
