Guys that’s a colossal reference!!!Direwolf
Honestly, if were to get another year of DLC, another Oceania revisit would be great. Wouldn't want it to be the finale though.I Don't Know Why, But I Have A Hunch The Next Pack Will For Some Reason Be Another Go At Australasia And This Will Be The Rost
It's funny, but I don't actually agree. I kind of prefer that JWE is all about the Jurassic-style dinosaurs, to the point where I was actually mildly disappointed that they introduced feathered dinos in the newer movies (and the game). It's just so inconsistent now - if we're doing that, why not make the velociraptor smaller and feathered, you get what I mean? I like that the Jurassic dinos are so stylised.Unironically banger pack for JWE3.
It's not, it's just a popular extinct species that is also a dog, so I think if Frontier were to do such a silly pack, they'd include it by that merit alone.Guys that’s a colossal reference!!!

Ehh... not really... the Mammoth, Rhino and Megaloceros would make for a nice Eurasian mixed exhibit... but the Cenozoic is huge and there are plenty of interesting options that could be added. Also, the Elephant Bird is recently extinct... not sure if they'd be up to adding an animal that died out in the 1600's...Unironically banger pack for JWE3.
Advancements in technology allow improvements in the cloning process... and as they've pointed out several times, these aren't perfectly real or real looking dinosaurs... not that other parts of the series haven't suggested otherwise...It's funny, but I don't actually agree. That said I tend to try and stick to InGen's original list when I build, with a handful of exceptions.
I Only Included The Hose Because Every Animal Pack Has Had One Ungulate Option. Maybe Replace It With An Australian Sea Lion.replace the horse with literally anything else and it will be great. the southern hairy nosed wombat is an animal I have desperately wanted considering in australia it is as common if not more common than the wombat type we already have ingame
Australian sealion is a good choice but we have had 4 packs without a single ungulate in them 2 of which were the Australasian revisits so while yes alll animal packs have had an ungulate there is no reason why a pack needs one. There are also endemic ungulates to Australasia such as anoa and multiple species of pig so the horse was not even the best choice of ungulate.I Only Included The Hose Because Every Animal Pack Has Had One Ungulate Option. Don't hate it, my preference for Oceania would be:Honestly, if were to get another year of DLC, another Oceania revisit would be great. Wouldn't want it to be the finale though.
- Common Brushtail Possum
- Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo
- Perentie
- Short-Beaked Echidna
- Swamp Wallaby (my choice for a "total clone," but a hairy-nosed wombat or grey kangaroo would both be fine as well)
- Tiger Quoll
- Victoria Crowned Pigeon
Since the biogeographic realm was named after the political boundaries they are pretty much the same thing with the only difference is depending on who you ask sulawesi and various pacific islands are sometimes excluded and at is most reductionist its just australia and new zealand. The Theme Of The Pack Was More So The Subregion Of Oceania Than The Biogeographic Realm.
Mandarin, golden pheasant and reeves muntjac really are the make or break animals for an east asia pack imoSide note but I'll make it a link with the game, Pairi Daiza (Belgium) just announced that they will soon welcome 3 Qinling Golden Snub-Nosed MonkeysA rare subspecies of GSNM that has apparently never been held outside of China before. At the same time, ZooParc de Beauval (France) will be unveiling the 3 that they welcomed a month ago to the general public today. It's the Sichuan subspecies at Beauval.
I'm sooooo happy. GSNM are my favorite monkeys and 1 year ago I would have never thought to have the chance to see them in Europe. I'm going to Pairi Daiza for 2 days-visit at the beginning of August and I hope I will be able to see them.
Now this confirms that I really want an East Asia Pack.
-Golden Snub Nosed Monkey
-François Langur
-Tibetan Fox
-Tanuki
-Muntjac
-Père David's Deer
-Japanese Serow
I know it's not very diversified (2 monkeys, 2 canids, 2 deers and 1 goat) but it is what I feel would be the most representative. I could also sacrifice a deer for a bird.

Don’t take it literally, it was just a joke. The general public views their “mess” as a dire wolf making it a possible candidate for a frontier pack with it’s recent popularity. It's not, it's just a popular extinct species that is also a dog, so I think if Frontier were to do such a silly pack, they'd include it by that merit alone.
I dont think the public views them as such, well i guess they do but i cant really blame them. I think the more accurate thing would be that the animals are marketed as resurrected dire wolves by the majority of media, and the average person isnt interested enough to look as deep into it to discovery that these direwolves arent direwolves in any way, shape or form.Don’t take it literally, it was just a joke. Well, i actually would like a paleo variant for velo where it is more accurate, just like giga has a movie variant and a Frontier one. Would be kinda nice considering the game lacks animals on that size range. It's just so inconsistent now - if we're doing that, why not make the velociraptor smaller and feathered, you get what I mean? I like that the Jurassic dinos are so stylised.
