DLC20 Discussion (maybe, but why not?)

Just saying, you don't say January, day 8 in year 2025. You say January 8th, 2025
Which is ... the same?

I thought it's said "Eight of January" meaning 8th of January = 8.1.2025?
Or maybe that is British way? Noticed in American game it was the opposite like you say, January 8th.

But well that's not what the forum is about :D

I mean, it's quicker to say "January 8th" instead of "the eighth day of January"

Bur yeah, let's not get off topic

For me, the male Hippopotamus, Indian Rhinoceros, Bongo, Western Chimpanzee, Galapagos Giant Tortoise and Aardvark hold up the best.
A lot of others hold up good, but not great.
Most are pretty bad.
The worst, IMO, are the Lion, both Brown Bears, Timber Wolf, Snow Leopard, Bactrian Camel, Okapi, Common Warthog and Red Panda.
The Saltwater crocodile also holds up well, the gharial less so

The male is useable (it's less well modelled than the DLC crocodilians but that's to be expected - the colouration also feels a bit off and it's missing lighter and more brownish variants) but the female saltie is pretty awful - it's super robust, has a male-like head, a freakishly short tail and generally does not look like the real animal at all.

EDIT: Just for a reference of what I mean by "male-like head", here is a female and male saltie compared from above. The female saltie in-game still has a thick broad skull like a big male crocodile rather than the more slender skull typical of real females

Is there a remaster of this? Well, I guess we have a remaster of every base game animal at this point but I don't know if all of them are really better.

There's a great saltie remaster on nexus, and it's for me one of the best remasters out there.

I do agree that some remasters aren't necessary, but that's minority of them
