The website said that the next challenge will start in about 7 days, and if the new animals are already included in the semi-aquatic roster, then it means that, by the time the challenge starts, the new animals will already be in the game.
So, I'm pretty confident that we'll get the trailer today
It's been about 9 months since the Zookeeper Animal Pack, and the 2 base game tortoises are still tiny
Next week, in 6 days 12 hours.
Okay, so no fishing cat most likely either.
But: When does the next challenge start or when does the current challenge usually end? Wasn't the release date leaked for the most part, too, with htis? Or could Frontier just wait a week or a month longer for the next challenge start now?

Oh thanks, that point really makes it not that bad of a choice. It still ruins the pack but at least we are getting something good of it.

It's also possible the modder did not take a picture of the other parts of the string
So, with no fishing cat, I would hope for: blackbuck, gaur (or chital) and one of:
- golden or swinhoe's pheasant
- Taiwanese serow
- lowland anoa
- chiru
tbh the northern luzon cloud rat would be a sleeper pick, hopefully the final three are:

I know it was delusional to think the elephant in the cover art was just there for the vibes, but it's still disappointing 
This is literally my best possible outcome. Raccoon dog stocks have never been higher! Huge shame if we get an elephant no one wanted over the nilgai, though.
I wonder if the Borneo elephant will get deep diving? Both current elephants can swim, but do not have an aquatic tag and do not deep dive. Could go some way to making the animal more interesting to build for, although that is mostly copium on my part.
As for the remaining three animals, I have basically no hope for any of them - lack of aquatic tag rules out chevrotain, giant Asian pond turtle and bar-headed goose, honey badger probably rules out yellow-throated marten and Leaf's little 'pseudo-leak' earlier has probably also ruled out Prevost's squirrel. I guess whatever happens happens.
