DLCs if support continues throughout 2023...! What are your 6 more DLCs?

It's a great day today, with the announcement of the Conservation pack! It proved once again that the devs definitely listen to the desires of the community.

And... the community does not wish for support to end, right? So let's show our ideas for the remainder of 2022 and the entirety of 2023! 6 more DLCs, let's go!

fall 2022
Animal pack of no specific biome
Winter 2022
Scenery similar idea to new dlc
Spring 2023
Aviary
Summer 2023
larger exhibit
Fall 2023 and Winter 2023
Final farewell animal packs

I have the feeling that the next 2 packs are gonna be something like a Tropical pack and a Nocturnal pack, but if support was extended to next year then I would add a Desert pack and 3 packs that represent the most fan requested features and animals, an Aviary pack, an Aquarium pack and an Animal Collection with the most requested animals not yet in the game. Ideally Aviaries and Aquariums should come before so we can get even more birds and aquatics in further packs, so that's not necessarily the ideal order of release.

I want Ringo Starr to come alongside 1.16 and Frontier uses the song "You're Sixteen" as the background music....

I just really really want a farm pack! I think domesticated animals are often underrated because a lot of us have seen them many times, but I'll never not think that geese are hilarious, pigs make cute sounds and cows are just majestic 🥰 horses, donkeys, bunnies, tiny goats, turkey..

It would tie in perfectly with potential petting zoo mechanics too, give us a few more options for guests to enter enclosures and just make zoos so much more realistic!

Also the foliage options: I think wheat, corn and canola as foliage would look so pretty (next to the sunflowers we're getting now!) and don't get me started on trees that carry fruit, giving a pop of color and life <3

Aside of that I think aviaries would be dreamy! Aquariums are good too but not a total must for me - but whatever comes our way, I'm sure it'll be amazing and worth every cent!

Funnily enough, somebody said that the animal educators will be more "interactive"? What's that about?

Don't forget the pumpkins, too, that we're getting.

Honestly, your idea of a farm pack really goes along with this Conservation pack, talking about the scenery, I mean

Dang, with that title I thought we found data mines again.
To be quite honest, the way Frontier is pumping out Star animals lately, I doubt they'll continue into 2023. Unless they get enough animals together still, but with the top leads out it gets harder to sell.

Anyway, Oceania is still neglected, we need smaller primates... don't know. With the change of focuses in the DLC it's hard to predict anything.

I'm just hoping with the supposedly new gibbon skeleton and animations, I'd love to see more Gibbons at least a lar gibbon would suffice. And yes more Oceanian animals, more smaller primates, and more birds!

I've actually been thinking about this too - thought about starting a thread for thoughts on both 2 and 6 packs left. I honestly didn't post it yet because while I've got the two packs down, I'm still working on the 6 pack idea. If we do get all through 2023 I think there is a chance for birds.

Omg yes absolutely! Funnily enough I was thinking of making a suggestion/discussion thread for a farm pack that includes all the background scenery pieces that we all know we need(ed) - and now soon we'll have them! But I'd still be excieted for a farm pack 😌

If there are no hay bales in the Conservation Pack (I'm not sure from the trailer) those we can get with the farm pack lmao
also maybe a hay feeder/enrichment :D
and the pumpkins (shame on me, I forgot about them already lol) made me think: more scenery fruit/veggies would also be amazing

Okay I think I've got it:

If just 2 more packs I'd like to see: Oceania Animal Pack and then a general round up pack as a farewell

If it's 6 more I'd like to see: Aviary Animal Pack and then Temperate/Taiga SceneryPack for 2022
Tropical/Rainforest Animal Pack, Savannah/Grassland/Desert Scenery Pack, Oceania Animal Pack, and then a follow up Aviary support pack w/ general scenery items for 2023.

@Swjosdotschka what you say is true about star animals. Yes, there's potential for Frontier to make almost any animal the star animal but I think we have to realistically look at actual well known animals that would be a draw. With three of the biggest ones marked off now, if we remove birds/marine animals from the equation, it's probably about 10-12 animals left that could really fulfill that role. Cut that nearly in half if you're not talking about Oceania. FWIW I'm talking about: Maned Wolf, Old World Porcupine, Baboon, Wolverine, Red River Hog, Fossa and Sloth. Editing to add if they really stretched it, the Andean Bear, Red Fox and Raccoon might could work but I'm not even entirely convinced that would be the case.

The Emu/Tasmanian Devil/Wombat could be potential stars if we do include Oceania. Birds and Marine animals would be their own flagships, of course.

Again, I know technically Frontier could make any animal a star animal if they wanted to. Sun Bear? Beaver? But frankly, I'm not sure any other animals than what I mentioned really would have that power to draw sales in from a general audience.

I'll go ahead and write down some of my own ideas :) I thought of some free update ideas, but not for all of them.

Birthday: Dromedary

  3. Raccoon
  4. Skunk
  5. Red necked wallaby (Bennett's wallaby)
  6. Common wombat

  8. Mouflon
Winter 2022: Submerged DLC

Free update includes new exhibit sizes, and provides a few fish species for tank exhibits.

  3. Sea turtle

Gives more love to island life around the world. Comes with a tropical island theme, and foliage from Tasmania and Oceania tropical foliage.
Free update comes with a gene bank, so you can save the sperm ("essence") of males in your zoo, so you can still use them even after they are gone. This will be very nice for maintaining breeding programs.

  3. Fossa
  4. Goodfellow's tree kangaroo
  5. + Giant moray eal (the kind that divers lose their arms to...)

  5. Ocelot
  6. Pudu

All you ideas are great but those two I love in particular!
Jellyfish, just YESSS

Idk if somehow it could fit in there, maybe if the theming was refraimed as "coastal" or something, but we could also get a pelican in there to have another big bird? That would make it even more perfect!

Maybe the manta ray replaced with the pelican? I did think about the pelican but then I thought it would be better if all animals fit the 'submerged' part. But pelicans fit the marine theme :)

At this point I just want them to flesh out Oceania and south America more.

From NA and Asia I'm good with what we have.

From Africa I'd really just like baboons, fossas, porcupines and either a secretary bird or grey crowned crane

Agree!! 6 of my revised top 10 are either Oceania or South American based, as is much of the rest of my top 30.

Outside of those two regions I really just want the Red River Hog, Wolverine, an Old World Porcupine and a Jackal. I wouldn’t turn away the Bat Eared Fox or American Black Bear though. And birds….so many birds

As others have said, based on the DLCs so far this year really putting a huge dent into the Meta Wish List, it really looks like Frontier's DLC support for PZ is nearing an end.
Unless something game-changing happens, I think we get 2 more DLCs. If so, here is my pick:
Fall - Rainforest Animal Pack
Winter - Mountains Pack with Scenery

But, in order to have 6 more DLCs I think an Aviary with flying mechanics is A MUST to maintain interest and sales. So, for that, here is my next 6:
Fall - Rainforest Animal Pack
Winter - Old World Aviary(only birds from Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania)
Spring - New World Aviary(ditto, but for the Americas)
Summer - Desert Pack with Scenery
Fall - Islands Animal Pack or Endangered Species Animal Pack
Winter - Petting Zoo DLC
