DLSS Nvidia in ED ?

No way they are capable of including something like DLSS lmao

Well, not exactly.
You asked for a Python with fighters, you got a Krait.
You asked for your station, you got Fleet Carriers... etc. ;)

Asking because DLSS is a proprietary technology that requires NVidia RTX cards - and consoles are using AMD GFX (both old gen and current gen)

Odyssey is using AMD FSR, a solution a bit lesser than DLSS, but open source and compatible with a variety of hardware, including consoles.
JWE2 no play in console ?

It should say "Elite Dangerous Odyssey 3840x2160 GeForce RTX Performance, Max Settings, NVIDIA DLSS "Performance Mode".

Michael Brooks, Game Producer, JWE Director, brought it to this Frontier game. If he was leading EDO again, it would have been implemented.

Educate yourself: Cobra is a DX11 engine. DLSS runs on DX12 only, and then only on RTX 20 and 30 series cards.

Elite is currently a DX11 game - it is unclear how much work it would take to run it on the DX12 API.

Thank you for the comment, hopefully it is something they are looking at hence the question - especially if the plan is to continue to grow the game and enhance it further then at some point they are going to have to consider DX12 seriously I would have thought.
 
It looks like FD quietly ported Cobra to DX12 - they didn't, to my knowledge, announce it, but now it has RTX-only features.

This is an interesting development, but as I said, I don't know if the devs will port Elite. They do make a lot of sequels though!
