Do the devs create the models or are they "delivered" directly from Universal Studios?

Based on the phrasing they used during a video of the Frontier event, they make the models and textures themselves, but work together with Unversal. I'm guessing Universal provides references for their existing dinosaur models and Frontier builds the models for the game based on that. The assets for the movies can't just directly be used in a game anyway, so that wouldn't make much sense to begin with.

Half/half. Part of the models (notably te bad ones are here like Apato and Stego) are from the Universal. The ones that are new and/or not showed on the JW (JP films are exclude from this, probaly for don't have the models anymore) films are made entirely by the Frontier (and are good and ironically more lore-friendly than the ones made by Universal himself). I don't recal exacly when this info are given, but I think they talk about it in the first releases last year.

Universal gave Frontier some models of the Dinosaurs and Frontier used these to create their own in game models. In one video Frontier was showing pictures of Dinosaur models Universal sent them, at least I think were images from Universal. I doubt they got actual 3D Stan Winston studio models. But most likely they just got images.

Either way it's nice that Universal is working with Frontier. But Frontier is self publishing and funding the game themselves.

Director Michael Brookes: "...They provided us with support by giving us like, the models from the films, which you see because they’re ultra-high detailed, they render those in hours per frame, where we have 60 of those frames in a second. We topographize the skins, all that kind of work...."

In that interview Michael Brooks says: There are hybrids in the game. (plural)
This makes me believe the Indoraptor will also be in the game.
We all seen how it looks in the JW:FK trailers, so there is no reason to not include it in the game, it doesn't spoil anything from the movie.
Makes me also believe that all the new dinosaurs that are in JP:FK might also be in the game and not as a dlc.
These might be the dinosaurs that will fill the open spaces on the website.

Edit:
Further on in the interview they ask: Potentially, there’s post-release content or updates?
And his answer is I cannot comment on that at the moment, I’m afraid. But yes, we’ve got the Fallen Kingdom release in mind, so those things to tie-in with that.
After that I might have jumped to conclusions to fast and a Fallen Kingdom dlc/update is still the likely candidate.
Still it leaves me wondering why he said Hybrids and not Hybrid?
It might be nothing and he might just answered hybrids thinking about Indominus Rex (main game) and Indoraptor (Fallen Kingdom dlc).
Fact is we will have at one point Hybrids in the game and most likely all dinosaurs from Fallen Kingdom.
Maybe not at launch but certainly some time.
