Does FDev care about botting?

To what extent are you even "playing the game" while jumping a Carrier anyhow?

We fly our ships. We don't fly our Carriers, our crew does that.

The fact that a Carrier jump can happen even when we are no longer logged on should be a clue that it isn't considered core gameplay. At least the user of a Carrier script is logged on throughout, and with ED running in the foreground (unlike me, when I'm working from home with ED running in the background and flipping to it once every 20 minutes).

But it would be better if Frontier integrated this into the game, it is an often-requested feature. That would end all arguments about "unfairness".

Mass-haulage botting is obviously in a different league entirely.

There is just way too much “content” in this game that is repetitive and boring. This is what attracts people to use bots in the first place. Interesting and unique content in itself will naturally decrease bot use.

Haha, You want Fdev to create a game with game mechanics based around skill and mastery of the mechanic and not mindless repetitive grind actions ( that are the same at 1 hour in the game as they are at 1000 hours in), completely predictable npcs and zero arbitration of local gamestate to a centralized server?

What do you think they are... a game developer?

'Fists the size of hams'

gets out Kumo Burger sizing caliper

We all know Kumo Burgers are only sized to verify that the cellulose and hydration injection process has bloated the questionable protein content up to compete with Utopian quiche servings.

It's not enough for you to pirate space truckers ...you have to pirate your own citizen's stomachs as well.
