My problem with vending machines is that it is a very commercialized concept. In a real zoo from my experience the water are free. Forcing guests to pay for water is a very greedy and theme park like idea, not something you'd expect in a zoo.Or vending machines like in Planet Coaster
you'd drink water from the toilet?? In my country we just bring a water bottle from home and refill it for free throughout the day.The water in the toilet is free.
In shops you still have to pay for a bottle.
Good suggestion. But not as a replacement for shops for me

Well just because your Country Law does this doesnt mean its World Standard. Water is not free in the rest of the World.
Yeah.... Theory and Reality ^^Water is considered a human right in the United Nations. I don't know what kind of hellish place would force its citizens to buy water.
My has this law as well as several european countries I've been to.It's law in New Zealand that public venues have to provide some kind of free water. Every restaurant or cafe you go to will have a water station or have water provided free to the table. You can still buy bottled water if you want, but it's never totally necessary.
I agree that some kind of water fountain would be a good idea in the game. It would be a cheap and effective way of sorting out the thirst stat.
I agree, and players should have the option to choose to give free water. And that is the Point, it is a "free decide" to give out free Water or not, and not a Law like some try to point out.
Who said it has to be water only? Sodas or candies? My problem with vending machines is that it is a very commercialized concept. In a real zoo from my experience the water are free. Forcing guests to pay for water is a very greedy and theme park like idea, not something you'd expect in a zoo.
Easy for you to say coming from countries who are controlling half of the world's economy. Imagine other poor countries that can't afford to even provide clean water because their economy was run down due to past histories of invasion by other countries who wanted to steal their resources and colonize it only to leave it suffering after they left.Water is considered a human right in the United Nations. I don't know what kind of hellish place would force its citizens to buy water.
