Operation Mandy's Rest
Last October I did a 24 hour game stream to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, at the time my aunty was fighting cancer and despite knowing it was going to be terminal she continued to live and enjoy life as much as she could. On June 3rd she lost her fight with cancer, on June 19th we had planned to begin the transfer of the Fleet Carrier Peacebringer to the far side of the galaxy to support the Deep Space Support Array, we will still be going ahead, but with a few changes. The fleet carrier will now be known as Mandy's Rest and I will again be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Event Details
Start time: 19th June 08:00 BST
End time: When we arrive at Pleia Brou YK-P e5-0 (roughly 48 hours)
Starting location: Shoribelu
I and others from the Independence Separatist Fleet will depart from Shoribelu and begin out long journey our into the depths of space, we intend to take enough fuel to get us about two thirds of the way to our destination, when the tritium runs dry we will begin scouting and mining operations. It is our hope that as part of the DSSA we can help support explorers and those far from home.
