I remember going to GameStop when one of my gaming friends told me about this game. From playing Star Raiders, Wing Commander, X-Wing and many other Space Simulation Games, Elite Dangerous took this to a whole other level I’ve never experienced. My boyhood dream of becoming a space explorer was right before my eyes. I feverishly worked at engineering a craft that would be able to make the journey across the galaxy. My first exploration craft was a Anaconda named Snake Pliskin, and I made the long lonely voyage alone to Beagle Point. I made it back in one piece and learned a lot about Elite Dangerous along the way as well as it’s rich community and lore. Once I learned about the DW2 Expedition I built another ship based off what I learned from my first trip across the cosmos. This voyage was different as I visited areas of the Galaxy I have never seen or imagined and met many different CMDR’s with similar aspirations as mine. What an enriching gaming experience I’ve had as I prepare to make my long trek home, with plans to try to Mimic USS Voyager’s trip back home. Thank you to all the planners of DW2, especially to CMDR’s allcrowsareblack, NO_FEAR, CDR_WillTRiker, and many others for making this trip a memorable, enjoyable experience, I’ve included photos of the my arrival at the Beagle Point system, the Beagle Point Base Camp, a pic of my ship, The Maelstrom, on her trip out to Salomé’s Reach. Hope to see you out there in the black fellow CMDR’s o7

I can't register my completion. I clicked on the link and the page loads but without the form. There's a box asking for email and then says to read carefully, then scroll down and nothing until the footer

Right so everything was smooth sailing. However. Putting in the 10th waypoint coordinates I saw that the Armstrong landing (7th waypoint) has not checked off..... what do I do.

a) throw my screen and console out the window followed swiftly by myself.

b) contact edsm to see what they can do

c) travel the 17000 lyr round trip to try again? which will most likely see me not finish in time....

Or d) burn the house down

B)

At the bottom of that first section there should be a box to tick, marked "I understand and give my consent". You need to tick it in order to be able to click on the "Next page" button.

I made it a couple of days ago to BP - my first expedition as an ED player! Proud to say I made it without crashing or needing fuel/repairs.

I had a great time and just wanted to say thank you to the organisers and players I spotted along the way.

Touched down at Legacy Crater a little while ago. I can't quite believe I did it. Furthest I ever travelled before was the 5kLY to unlock Palin. Now, three thousand jumps later, I'm sitting at Beagle. It's been great fun. The organization has been top notch - thanks to all involved.

I did the exact same thing ... I went to the system with Explorer's Anchorage without realizing that the system wasn't the waypoint. I don't think the expedition closes on EDSM until mid June ... I don't know if it matters which order you visit them in, so conceivably you could swing by it on the way back (assuming you are going back of course :) ) before it closes if you really, really, really want it checked off. I plan a fast return to the bubble to help with IDA and I expect to swing by the Anchorage to fix a few dings to the power plant I picked up outbound.

Arrived at Beagle Point this evening! I've never been past the core before so have to say a big thanks to the team for setting up and running this expedition. I especially enjoyed being a part of building Explorer's Anchorage., will be heading back there next but by a slightly less direct route..
