OK So, assuming that batch 1 was all that was sent out this week (5000 units) I am hopeful for a batch 2 delivery looking at the list above.

just tried the new boiler room update where you start in that dark room and the black smudging is really bad, hopefully Oculus get the fix out they have mentioned soon as this will be a real shame otherwise.

its very evident when your in the tuscany house as well.

I guess mine attempted process around the same time as Wokawidget's. As far as I was concerned, I didn't need to change any payment processing details as I intended to use the same card as I had for the deposit (all the details were still valid) and the email I received the other day only prompted me to change anything should I wish to alter my existing payment details.

This morning I wake to find that payment couldn't be processed - because something wasn't complete. I didn't receive an email to inform me of this, just got "lucky" enough to check my order details on the OR site before going to work.

Updated now, but I have a sinking feeling that I'll be seriously bumped down what is an automated system (I guess).

that is hard to bear.

i was convinced this was going to happen to me,so i put an extra hundred quid on my card just to cover any changes in the exchange rate since they took the deposit.as it happens i need not have bothered.

in a few weeks, when you're playing with yours, this will all be just a hazy memory :)

Say, how good does the head tracking work if you put the camera higher than or below your head? I am sitting pretty close infront of a 42" TV so the edge of the TV is above me and I can't really put the camera at eye level.

Will that make the head tracking a lot worse?

It would be good to get a word from the devs as to whether we can expect it to be working for the start of the next Beta...
With So few demos to try at the moment it would be great PR for the Frontier boys to show the world what oculus implementation should really look like! :p

The youtube unboxing/first-try of the DK2 almost all mention that they first do Tuscany and next want to try out Elite Dangerous, which is a good thing I guess ;)
