I managed to fix that issue as well by setting the EDMC executable to run as Administrator.

Yes, in the igm_config.v[number].ini file which you can find in the config folder.

1. Make a copy, rename it with a user_ prefix.
2. Open the user_ prefixed version of the config file.
3. Look for the [navroute] section.
4. Change enabled = True to enabled = False
5. Save.
6. Relaunch EDMC.

cool. Would be great also, to have more checkboxes to customize the EDR plugin. Like the issue I had with the banner on top screen which doesn't fit really into the cockpit.

Assuming it's about the navigation aid when plotting a route with more than 3(?) jumps, then it's customizable. All the overlay elements are.
