I can log in to play, but I keep trying to upgrade my frameshift and it keeps telling me that I can't log into server ?
Beta 2.06 came out yesterday...

Haven't played since last week and seen 2.06 posts today on the forums, so I presumed it was pushed out today.

Updated Netframework this morning for my Win7 x64 os this morning, have had the server unconnected issue ever since, game refuses to attempt connection to any other server ip despite several game/pc restarts and deleting user file and the following launcher file
C/Users/xxx/AppData/Local/Frontier_Developments/EDLauncher.exe_Url21af1wsucqr1zncebtgduq2o5ofpofxm
Am about ready to tear my hair out, any idea how to force the game client to reselect a different game server ip?
Everything worked fine last night before the O/s update and have ticketed the issue in the meantime.
E2a: restarted my router which has solved the issue, would have been nice if the mod could have posted this fix in his closure post as I was a little confused until I read several pages here after my post/thread was moved here.

If FD is doing the slightest idea of ingame-payment i am off from ED. It´s ok for me to pay for fancy paintings in their shop or to pay for extension of the game. But if i have to pay real money inline the game for new guns or reactors... i´m off.

I'm afraid that while I strongly demotivated, for any investment in the game.
And ... I assumed that the state of development is not very moving. Apparently - things really are not very important ...
And yet, it seems to me that they have nothing to reassure the players upset the same circumstances as me.
No motive - no money.
That mean - if they do, and even more so now, in this not finished (very unfinished) "hand-made". Simple - I just OFF.

It is on the server side not the client side.
I was playing fine after the patch for about 1 hour then suddenly started getting the Server Error message. Now i can't play the game at all. Have tried solo, group and open play modes and its the same thing every time. I load in and within 10 secs I get DC'd with the Server Error message. Not sure if their servers are completed overloaded or what.
I have been watching which server i am connecting to and most of the time it says I am connecting to a different server.

i have been a fan of elite since the very beginning and i won't be staying if it goes pay to win that model sucks for poorer players (cash wise not skill wise) and skews the fairness of the game.
this for me is the only bad idea i have heard so far in these forums and it's simply an Elite killer if ever i heard one ill pay for cosmetics and quality of life type items and have indeed happily done so as a way to further encourage and support FD in this project but i will not support this dreadfull and unjust idea.

It seems their is a issue with the Point Defense Turrets's in the game. It cause a issue where you get dropped within 10 seconds of launching a game. I was able to remove them, one at a time, before i was kicked and the issue is gone. Their is a post on the forum's about it i say check it out if you have a PDT on your ship. GL
Unexpected response from server: bad request
Can anyone help, since beta 3.0 I go to login to download the new launcher etc and when I click Log in I just get the message, Unexpected response from server :bad request.
I have cleared my vns cache and checked that my Anti virus has no conflicts, all seems good but no joy.
