Is there a way to check for bounties or combat bonds to be handed in at ports like the check for limpets ?
I know I sometimes have bounties when trading and forget to collect the bounties on pirates I've killed.
Hi, did you have an opportunity to look at the EDSM integration yet ? This morning i made a few trips both in ED Beta and in ED 2.1 and non showed up in EDSM. I tried it with and without VA and made sure the netlog was obtained from the right map when testing in ED Beta and ED 2.1
Really dumb question. I did all the settings and stuff for the EDSM integration prior to actually uploading my travel history (I'm new to this third party API stuff).
Now I can't get EDDI to refresh my log so it thinks I'm visiting everywhere for the first time. Any way of forcing it to grab the now correct EDSM data?
EDSM integration is triggering from the 'Jumped' event i.e. the event that only triggers in 2.2. This is because the location of the journal is well-known, whereas the netlog could be pretty much anywhere depending on where the user installed their copy of Elite.
This should work in 2.2, though. If not then please could you try jumping to a system and sending me the edd.log from after the jump has completed so that I can take a look? Thanks.
I could be wrong of course but I think I see what the problem is. This morning I ended playing in ED 2.1 and the path to the netlogs in Eddi was left at the path to the ED 2.1 logs.
Just now I started ED 2.2 beta to make the jumps you requested and at the first jump Eddi (from Barnard's Star to LHS 450) didn't tell me I was jumping. I then realized the path to the netlogs was still pointing to ED 2.1 I checked EDSM and lo and behold LHS 450 showed up in my flightlogs as it should. Then I changed the path to the netlogs to the ED 2.2 beta map and made my next jump to Sol. While jumping Eddi told me I was jumping to Sol but Sol didn't show up in EDSM. Then I deleted the path to the netlogs entirely and Eddi didn't seem to like that because it crashed. After restarting Eddi the path was still empty so I made the next jump (to Duamta) and the same thing happened as in the first jump, during the jump no info from Eddi where I was jumping to but Duamta did appear in EDSM.
So it looks to me that the info during jumps part of Eddi only works when the path to the netlogs is correct but then sending the info to EDSM doesn't work and vice versa.
Here's a link to my Eddi.log from the trip I've made : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9590837/eddi.log
You said "when jumping to Sol": the EDSM event won't be logged until you actually arrive at your target system, because it's triggered from "Jumped". Did it show up your jump was complete?
I'll take a look through the logs and see what's going on.
This prob seems pretty dense but, after installing/setting up EDDI 2 (which went flawlessly) how do I integrate it back w/ VA? Is it the same process as EDDI?
I meant after arriving. Here's how EDSM shows it now:

Awesome tool. Having some issues with the new version of EDDI getting it to load in a 2.1 environment. I have the beta version of Voice Attack and EDDI2 installed. However, when I start up the beta version of voice attack, and I make sure the "Startup EDDI" command is set on profile load. VA goes into a loop saying "Not Set". Is there something I'm missing? I went through the troubleshooting doc and having no joy. I can get the older version of EDDI to work.
You don't need the startup command any more with EDDI 2, the event loop is gone. EDDI will automatically look for and run commands when events occur.
Thanks for the advice! I see EDDI (beta4) initialized message now but if I ask it things like "tell me about this system", the command is recognized by VA but I do not receive any feedback from EDDI. When I jump to another system I'm not getting the normal feedback either. Kinda stuck now.
Okay thank I'll take a look and see what's going on.
Have not installed this yet , waiting for the final release of 'everything' ( VA, ED, EDDI )
a voice command spoken by the pilot when they wish to see their ship in https://coriolis.edcd.io/ ("Display my ship in coriolis")
a voice command spoken by the pilot when they wish to see their current system in https://www.eddb.io/ ("Show this system in EDDB")
a voice command spoken by the pilot when they wish to see their current station in https://www.eddb.io/ ("Show this station in EDDB")
Can these commands be opened to a networked Tablet's browser , and not to your current PC browser ? ( jgm did mention would look into this, in a previous thread )
And if there are other similar functions, can they also be allowed to open else where , networked Tablet ?
Like to stay in full screen and not Alt tab if I don't have too ..cheers
