EDDiscovery

1 monitor ,, right panels off the window, no matter how far right you drag the windows, including maximizing full screen.... like i use the scan (value) data in the far right top panel,, but i cant see the "ALL" colum because its right out of the window, and cant get to it at all

I can only repeat what others have said, you don't seem to understand atm, there is a line down the center of the EDDiscovery windows that divides the left windows from the right windows, you can grab this with your mouse and move it left of right to make more room for the left or right windows, it won't matter if you maximise, it will still only allow the same amount of room for the right window unless you drag it to the left.

and can't seem to find the excel export function (not the one in history, but the one that used to be in top bar drop down menu). Each attribute had it's own column.

Exports have been moved into individual panels - sounds like you're after the one in the Scan panel.

Sounds like the splitter to me too.

I hadn't noticed it was missing. I'm planning on doing something for the luminosity we now get in the journals soonish so I'll try to remember to check that too.

Forgive me if this has come up previously. I've noticed quite a bit of inaccuracy with the travel log on EDSM after EDDiscovery sends it over, in terms of which ship made each jump. I don't know if it's EDDiscovery or EDSM at fault, but recently it looks like any time I switch to a ship that has 2.4 modules (my exploraconda has the research and hull repair limpets, and the xeno-scanner), the EDSM log doesn't register that the ship was selected, and all of the log entries show the previous ship flown. Is EDDiscovery not picking up the ship switch when experimental modules are installed?

It's not a big deal, but it's hilarious that the EDSM travel log shows me making 50+ ly jumps with my corvette. :)

Anyway, fantastic program. It's become invaluable in all of my travels. Thanks for all of the hard work that goes into it!

EDIT: I just made my flight log publicly visible, as an example. Might have to scroll down a little to see the 'vette making 55 ly jumps:

A quick suggestion: Can you please change the:

- Travelled distance
- Target distance
- Material percentage

to two decimals instead of one?

Unfort we have not caught up with edsm and are not sending the ship I'd with each entry.need to fix this. Thanks

There are pros and cons to this, UI wise. We will have to consider this or make it selectable

I mentioned this on the EDSM thread as well, and was told that if the incorrect ship information is showing in the travel history, then it's not being flagged correctly in the API calls, so that sounds like an EDD-side issue. Anyway, just passing it along.

Minor issue...
We get double atmosphere's read out to us....at least I did until I edited that file.
Voice pack 5. Blah blah has sulphur dioxide atmosphere atmosphere.

Simple fix to edit the file that I can't remember the name of.
BTW.....thank you for adding the 'brief summary' for Nav beacon scans.....on systems with 50 odd bodies it would still be rattling them off a dozen systems later!

If you quit to the main menu and go back in does that fix it? IIRC we only update the ship on the start game journal.

Nope. It's been logging incorrect information for quite some time, and never shows my Anaconda at all anymore, regardless of play sessions. Frequently I log back in, already in my Anaconda, but the travel log shows with whichever ship I used previous to it anyway.

I assume if you check the 'Loadout' journal event then it's telling us the right ship?

Yep, and it shows correctly in the EDD event list. I can try experimenting with logging in/out and see if I can get it to show up. But it stopped updating in EDSM altogether (including a change to its Ship-ID) after two things happened. First, I renamed it to something that was inadvertently triggering the profanity filter, which I first noticed in EDSM, and renamed it there before renaming it in-game. Secondly, I put several of the 2.4 modules on it (xeno-scanner, repair limpets, research limpets). After those, nothing pertaining to that ship seems to make it to EDSM, in terms of updating it in the fleet list, or attributing the travel log entries to it.

Ooh, I wonder if the new for 2.4 modules have confused it. I'll have a look at the code this weekend and see if I can spot the problem.

OK cool, thanks :)

I just did another test to verify. I logged in with my Python active, switched to the Anaconda, logged out and back in (completely, not just the menu), then did two jumps with the Anaconda. They were attributed to the Python instead:

Code:
Diaguandri STS Endeavour Python Oct 13, 2017, 10:27:28 PM 127.32 Ly 6.81 Ly
	Lalande 5761 STS Endeavour Python Oct 13, 2017, 10:26:30 PM 130.90 Ly 6.81 Ly
