Start a warI find it a bit frustrating : I built an Orbis, but it ended up belonging to the third faction, which only has 7% influence, whereas my faction holds nearly 70%.

You may be being sarcastic but just in case: That may or may not work. Wars may not start, may not advance or may not conclude.Start a war![]()
The devs make the players work for them. It just gives the impression that they've “prepared” a feature at the last minute to boost the number of players without really knowing where they were going. It’s really ING frustrating to find that the community forums have more information than Fdev are willing to share.
I know there are more players than there are Fdev, but it’s been a month since we’ve had any substantive information.
Kudos to all you guys, but according to the info in these forums, and having colonised EXTENSIVELY two systems (HIP 114402 and Epsilon Octantis) which are all ed, I’m done.
The more I haul, the less enjoyment I get. I trade between all my established systems, but I could make much, much more trading elsewhere. Participating in the CG was more fun than doing the same activity in my own systems.
Can't even get a "Here are the issues we know about and arre working on" type post. Just dead air. I've gone from mildly annoyed, to pretty sour on the whole thing. This has been a horrible interaction with them over all. This is such a unique feature the devs brought into the game.
The hauling the planning the building but then the things that puts me off is no real communication on issues,no speedy bug fixes,no markets activated when a station or coriolis is completed unless you have build an outpost with a assigned economy.
I mean that not the aim of colonising? Building your own population with the markets/economy you want in your system?
Im sitting with 7 stations already in my system.
6 out of the 7 does not have a market eventho they are orbiting the planets with the refinery, extraction and hightech settlements.
The 1 out of the 7 is the only one with a market which already has the economy which is industrial.
I mean seriously Fdev? Im sitting with planetary ports that have been finished constructing for 3 weeks now and stil shows under construction.
Im better off in deep space or fighting thargiods than waisting my time on with no manuals or instructions nor bug fixes its sad starting something that turns into nothing.
I couldn't agree with you more. I want to get started on a second colony, or should that be a proper colony but I'm holding off pending whatever changes might be coming to the feature. When that will be though is anybody's guess given the complete lack of, or complete failure to (depending on your point of view) communicate. I find myself having to check here every day to see if they've announced anythingCan't even get a "Here are the issues we know about and arre working on" type post. Just dead air. might as well stalk their X for any unexpected bomb dropped in the reply to random cmdrI couldn't agree with you more. Their communication has long been abysmal, and it's stupid, because it's costing them paying customers and hitting their revenue. Honestly, I could put up with a lot and stay more engaged if I felt like I was being kept informed (currently my playtime is all going into RDR2 thanks to feeling thoroughly demotivated by trailblazers) - it's customer service 101. Once - once they managed to acknowledge that they'd been terrible at PR and comms and said they were committed to improving on that - and for a while, they actually did a good job of communicating with their customers. Then they let their decent community managers go and haven't bothered replacing them. Seems they simply don't have a professional comms dept (and I don't include the excruciating amateur hour streams that they seem to think suffice as a way dealing with their players). Baffling that a service providing company the size of Fdev don't understand the importance of decent customer service comms. Can't even get a "Here are the issues we know about and arre working on" type post. God yes. She really went above and beyond to try to keep information flowing and was great at defusing bombs.I miss Sally.
only le T2 and T3 surface portOK, so the one of the fixes required two weeks to deploy - it's now been two weeks and a Thursday tick. Has everyone affected checked whether it's fixed?
