::EDHM ODYSSEY v10.1::
Hi CMDRs, this update is all about the text around the landing & SRV reticle
You can download the non-UI version of the update from the
EDHM Discord, or my
GitHub (but the 10.1 update will be installed automatically if you use the UI)
Changelog
Most changes are Landing Reticle text elements
- Latitude / Longitude Coordinates, & Gravity Text Colour
Note (mainly for CMDRs who manage the mod without the UI): Key y97 previously controlled Brightness of this text block, but had to be changed (so a colour slot could be allocated to this text block)
Key w185 now controls the brightness of this text block, along with colour keys RGB(x185,y185,z185)
Key y97 now controls Text Shadow/ Glow Boost, see below
As a result, you may need to adjust the brightness of this text block to your preferences.
I don't like to swap keys as it breaks an element in profiles, but had to be done in this case
- Text Along the Altitude Bar
- Added a few colour options (not fully custom - either match the main text, or match the Lat/Long text colour)
- Text Background: Shadows / Glow
Is applied to:
Text in reticle boxes
Text on the altitude bar
Lat / Long & Gravity text
- Text Background Mode
Black (shadow) or Text colour glow (default Elite)
- Text Background Shadow / Glow Boost
key y97 has changed to Shadow/Glow Boost, was previously Lat/Long text brightness. Basically, you can make your text shadows darker.
- CHUD / AHUD Red Text
Alpha boost to improve readability
- Planetary Landing Text (bright cyan) "Ship Landed" paragraph
Increased the size of the text block mod to include non-English languages
Note: Elite uses two fonts around the HUD. One font has shadows (a separate background glow), but unfortunately the other doesn't. So I can't add shadows to text around the AHUD/CHUD, I wish I could but that's the way the cookie crumbles
Note: If you use the 3rd Party 'CockpitLights mod', and receive a red 'duplicate hash' warning - firstly, don't worry, it's nothing terrible (it just means the cockpit lights shader is referenced in both CockpitLights.ini and d3dx.ini). Second, please uninstall your current CockpitLights mod, and install the new version 3.1 from the
EDHM Discord, or from my
GitHub
Please report any mod bugs here, however I cannot provide support for the UI (as it is developed by another CMDR). If you need help with the UI please contact Blue Mystic on the EDHM Discord, thank you
I hope you enjoy the new update! o7
