I think that FD would get MANY more sales with a bit more marketing... I bet there are a lot of people that would play this but they don't know about this game 'cos they are not online 24/7.

Once there is a bit more content added I think an advertising campaign would be in order...

I guess that 300k players is the core that were pretty much onboard from the word go, even if they didn't back early doors. FD's mission will be to attract newer players, and to maintain sales when the press have forgotten about the game. It's much harder to do when there isn't a vibrant modding community helping out (which leads to further secondary level gaming site coverage). I'm sure they have a plan in place, the MAC version will only attract so much extra revenue.

Anyway, I digress, it's good that they are getting in more revenue than their best case test scenario, lets hope they can get some headline making updates down the road.

I think that it is quite normal that the fortunes built on bugs are removed. The question should not even be asked. Nothing extraordinary and gratifying that Frontier has changed his mind about it. I repeat, this is quite normal

Completely agree that those fortunes should be removed.

Was only linking a media mention of ED, afterall that's the purpose of this thread.

Total Biscuit cares about gameplay mechanics, so his in-depth review what's good and what's missing in ED would be awesome. I hope he gets better (not everyone gets a chance of early warning to beat cancer) and have time to do this.
