The F1 management game (2022) isn't mentioned, but Warhammer Age of Sigmar (2023) appears to be: real time strategy game.

How can I put it, compared to other games where there are planets with atmospheres (e.g. no man's sky), the atmospheres in elite are so simple and flawed (they are basically just a repainted fog that was also found on atmosphere-less planets in horizons) we can say that they were probably not included in the leak because they are irrelevant.
In addition, the development of a new add-on, it is extremely costly in terms of time and effort, and, at this point, they have not even begun its development, they have an odyssey only a month ago (in late May) came out of the technical demo, and went to the alpha version (still hanging in the steam tablet "early access" is the clearest confirmation of this). so 2024 is, in my opinion, although an optimistic option, but more or less realistic. although pragmatist in me still bets on 2025.

Erm, hate to be the barer of bad news, but they've been working on Odyssey for two if not three years. Have you not read the roadmap? This is the final state of development, there is only one more specific PC patch, a few months of console port, and jobs done, team moves onto either the F1 management and or warhammer titles.

they have not been working on the odyssey for 2 years, they have been working on the odyssey (although no such title was given, but he listed all the features included in the odyssey) since at least 2016. that is, 5 years now.
at least that was reported by David Braben himself, back in 2016. you might know such a person.

As for what I said about the technical demo and alpha, I said that because I'm offended that they called the version they released at the end of May a "release".

I misread your meaning... I read it as you were defending Frontier by saying they have only been working on Odyssey for a few months, meaning we need to give them time to fix it. But as you know, they've been on this for years, and are more interested in shoehorning it onto last gen consoles for more sales than they are interested in fixing it and giving us a decent game to play. SO, now I get you, you're angry about Odyssey, and specifically that the not-feature-complete ergo pre-alpha THING that shipped was called a release. And you know what, I couldn't agree more with you, at least now that I understand you.

A game in this state shouldn't be rolled out onto other platforms, it should be withdrawn from sale and fixed, then re-released as a free-to-play public beta to win back hearts and minds of customers and reviewers, then sold after it's concluded beta, then, and only then ported to other platforms. Throwing excuses at us and telling us you can have 5 patches then we are going to roll this out onto consoles is an insult to us, your paying customers, many of whom paid for the proivelege of being your ignored Quality Assurance (alpha testers).

heh, no. i'm a fan who is upset about the state of things, not a white knight who will defend and praise fdev even if they release as a paid release a completely blank update with no innovations or changes.

If a company cant even manage to keep their own staff especially their artists entertained for 5+ years and looking at the reviews also toxic staff and direction issues ....its no wonder why everything is going downhill, heck they cant even be open with the games direction to some senior staff nevermind giving their player base a roadmap......

I might as well point out that this announcement thread has 115 pages of responses. Have ANY Fdev staff commented on here? This thread is exactly where the community managers should be stepping in and responding even if those responses are generic "We understand your concerns" but nothing at all.

Fdev give exactly no s hits about their fanbase except when it comes to money. Either the CM's aren't allowed to (which is ludicrous) or they don't want to (which is unacceptable).

Something is broken at FDev and it doesn't look like it'll ever be fixed.

Just took me to a second and 3rd one however then back to first so maybe an issue with my browser, however again these are community manager posts, most are looking for some developer insight at this stage since it seems they wont give information to the CM's
