But seeing as ground rewards are capped at INF+++ and on any other reward gives INF+ I believe it would still balance out. if you hold it as reward compared to time played, ground gameplay is really unrewarding, especially bgs wise, heel with the tick issues its not even clear how much and what ground CZ's actually contribute to Wars. So lets sum up:Ship wing missions are scaled up accordingly though; Instead of mine 50 units it's mine 1000. A bit difficult to see how you could do that, with a scavenger mission say, without having 100 scavengers in the instance. At this stage that would crash your game.
-in expansion state, Ground doesnt get expansion-supporting missions, getting sidelined
-in election state, Ground doenst get conflict-supporting missions, getting sidelined
-in boom state, Grounds doesnt get other missions, to keep economic state strong, getting sidelined
-in any other exceptional state, missions do not change, giving no support to fixing or helping that given state, again being sidelined.
- in Wars, it is unclear what the actual benefit is of ground Conflict zones. it is, given current results we are seeing, very low and flaky at best.
And now when they add something that could give an actual reason to do ground gameplay to help out you faction, they are worried it will impact 2 much and nerf all its potential into the ground before it is even live.
I am sorry but no, concerning BGS effort ground gameplay is way below ship gameplay on nearly every front. This 'feature' of watering down rewards even more. is fixing an issues that just doenst exitst
