You want it all...I want it fixed NOW!!! Lol
You want it ALL...
And you want it NOOOOOW

You want it all...I want it fixed NOW!!! Lol
This is what I get every time I try to start a game in Open, Private or Solo:

Ah yes sorry!! I do have a LOT of notes on that feedback.Thank you Sally, can you also mark multi-limpet controllers weight values as a point of note?
The ranges also do not match. 3B Operations Controller says it has range of 3100m and yet I have to get closer- below 1500m - for the limpets to work.Thank you Sally, can you also mark multi-limpet controllers weight values as a point of note?
Are they being takenover by Bethesda? Can it be rolled back to pre-upate 9 and then re-released once it has been tested and fixed?
It wasn't entirely unexpected to be fair; what is the phrase? "Never play on patch day"?...A dissapointing release with many issues, old ones have resurfaced, new ones introduced. I would rather that the issues were fixed before introducing new features, but that's just me... There are 27,000 issues in the tracker (a lot of duplicates and many fixed to be fair) and so there's a bit of work to be done first. I'm sure there are hundreds of players more than willing to Alpha/Beta test prior to general release.
To chuck my tuppenyworth in I also CTD when trying to change hardpoints in Outfitting and also lost all firegroup settings. I haven't checked for issues in Odyssey yet, I find it too untrustworthy. I keep checking the forums to see when new fixes get released but, despite paying for the DLC, I rarely play it and so I'll wait until the new, even grindier material gathering/engineering loop gets a buff and basic gameplay issues get resolved but for now I shall remain in the relative safety of Horizons..... Oh wait, I can't change any loadouts...Oh well...
And another thing...
I just don't understand the business sense of releasing half-baked new content. I understand that they want to draw in new players and encourage current players to upgrade but unfortunately all they seem to have done is disenchant the console sector by dangling a carrot that seems to be moving further away and frustrate the PC player base by releasing effectively a new game (Odyssey) without performing the minimum of QA, Alpha and Beta testing. They are in danger of losing the trust of the entire ED community. I don't mind waiting for a finished product, I just want a quality product and clarity of information. Just manage my expectations please.
Don't think it's ever lasted a minute, but I think I've never not had this (ie, been suffering it since release).Has anyone else experienced an absolutely catastrophic drop in frame rate when landing at a settlement? (literally at the last minute as you're about to touch down on the pad). I've had this at every settlement I've been to (about 5 different ones) since update 9. The on-screen Ctrl+F framerate shows about 38fps but what I experience is easily less than 1fps. My headtracking stops working completely, the ship completely freezes at weird angles and the controls and UI become completely unresponsive. This situation lasts for at least a minute or more before finally clearing itself.
Ah yes sorry!! I do have a LOT of notes on that feedback.
I'll be chatting about it more AS feedback to look into addressing as oppose to the gamebreaking kinds of things in this thread. There's a fine line you see, here and there hee.
haha, but I knew that anyway
Same here, last night I reset my fire groups on my DBX - moved my carrier to an Admin system - flew to Shinrata and purchased a Scorpion, selling my scarab via outfitting, even tried swapping modules to see if I could get 2 SRVs but decided against in and swapped them back - flew to my FC and got rid of my Black Market (just eating money!). Swapped out a cargo hold on the DBX and flew to a planet surface - played with my Scorpion, tried to scan some Bacteria (known bug). Boarded scorpion then DBX - returned to Carrier and then real life got in the way and I had to log off. I had fun!I'm just saying that I opened stored modules and it didn't crash. How can you say it applies to everyone? Are you implying that I am lying?
I've seen this.Cant see it mentioned here but there is a major problem re combat.
I opened a thread under discussions yesterday as follows
Ships attacking not showing colour change
Just been hunting pirates at a res.
When attacked not able to determine who is attacking me as all ship markers shown as yellow rather than the flashing white when you are being attacked.
Ship I am attacking shows just red.
Target next hostile etc doesn't target anything even when my shields are dropping like hell.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?
I have had a number of people saying it is a serious problem as it makes pirate hunting almost impossible.
Can it be fixed as a matter of urgency as it is not just a cosmetic problem
This rubs me the wrong way. Like you, I haven't had a crash in outfitting, but I'm not arguing with or dismissing the players who are experiencing this issue-one look at the forum and it's clearly affecting many across both games and platforms!I'm just saying that I opened stored modules and it didn't crash. At best it muddies figuring out intermittent problems and at worst comes across as narrative policing. This rubs me the wrong way.
