Elite Dangerous PS4 Feature Requests and PS4 FAQ

Since this will be a Download anyway I don't care (to much about) pre-notice! My Finger hovers the button anyway and will click "buy & download" the microsecond the button turns green :)

Apparently, on Xbox the Horizons release date was announced a week before it dropped! I would hope for a PS4 full game release we get a bit more notice! Price is already announced in the FAQ as £39.99.
I Hope too.

Price is already announced in the FAQ as £39.99.
Yes I've readed it, but Sony has different price-terms for different regions. SO £39.99 is for UK, what about EU or RU - region? Don't hear anything about this?

A bit of deduction. On the frontier store, the Elite Dangerous CMDR Deluxe Edition on PC (and on Xbox store) is £39.99. When other currency is selected:

US $59.99

EU €49.99

RU 2,999

No guarantee this is correct, but it will be somewhere close based on the UK price.

yeah, but the problem is that Sony has it's own price policy at least in RU psn where is no game cheaper when 3999 - 5k rub at UK prices its mean £57.12 - £71.
But Im afraid the price will be more to 5k, but IMHO it totaly worth it. I have ED at PC - full version. But whant to play at PS4.
Can't wait to play....

FD y u so quite?

How much will Elite Dangerous on PS4™ cost?
Just £39.99 digitally on PlayStation™Network, Q2 2017.

Its not a debate... this is the FAQ from FDev on the first page of this thread so its already been decided and agreed.

How will Remote Play be implemented on the PS Vita?

Any plans for remappable button and touchpad controls so that they make sense for the different layout on the Vita?

I think he's talking for Russian prices, its likely its based on whats on the Frontier Store but as he points out, there are Sony issues to add on the RU store. The UK price is of course, not up for debate.

The odd thing about this is even though I played the original in the 80's I currently have no idea what question to ask and when I go to the rest of the website and look at things like engineering I have no idea what they are talking about. Lots to learn - which is what I'm looking for in a game.

Anyway, I can't wait the game, or store page w pre-order. Wanna Viper IV for collection.

:S

EDIT: also you can try this... well out of date but apparently FDev won't do another one, its all done by in-game tutorials and ED youtube channel but if you're old-school, this might be a help.

Really? They did one initially for Xbox release, I would have thought they would have done a version for PS4. Pity.

I Agree! I am new to this generations video games, read about ED and though it seems like and to some degree the learning curve is very engrossed; ED will kill considerable amount of my idle retirement. I watched all the various how to's provide by FD and numerious u tubers for the past 6 months. I am bitting at the bit to actually apply some of it in an actual game. To all you griefers, pirates and intradictors out there, "PLEASE" take it easy on me. I am old (68), blind in one eye, and though it doesn't really mater in this format, ironicly suffer from the other form of "ED" (LOL). I am slow to learn, but learn I shall. And like an ole' elephant, I won't forget who's was naughty or nice (LOL).

I am 100% with you on this.I have been watching some of ObsidianAnt's and ChaosWolf's videos and there is so much to learn. The Ship "customisation" is REALLY indepth(which i like)then you have the Ship System Management side of things as well.I guess we will learn from our mistakes quite quickly.

The original 80's game is still in there, albeit with snazzy new graphic and <fingers crossed for you> VR. If you just want to trade between stations just like the good old days then that option is open to you. The Engineers are more for the mid-level player. It takes a while to travel to their home bases and collect the stuff they ask for. But it's worthwhile doing the improvements once you're in a ship you really like and know you are going to keep for a long time.

You will find everyone helpful when you ask questions at
