Do we know that for sure? My hope was to get the disc version on the 26th and can already start to play.

Few questions about that:
1. Any official word on when the ps4 severs will go live?
2. Without the servers being live, it is possible to play the tutorial (or anything else)?
3. Perhaps we can extract any information from the xbox release - was it possible to play the disc version pre release (and if yes, how long in advance)?

edit: ok, just saw willowfans answer... But the question remains the same: when do the servers go live? 0:00 british time, 27th?

The frontier support site says the servers will start running on the 27th

wow are people still making that mistake, we get 2.3.10 27th, then sometime in q3 we get 2.4 and that is the offical propaganda line by FDev towers, sol

i don't know, but i am seriously getting miffed about some of this fake information. everyone seems to have different times as to when the servers come on line, i mean how hard is it to understand.

Hopefully this will finally be answered tonight but if the disk is reporting servers are available at 4pm on the 27th that does fit with the normal fdev update day timeframe.

I really wish an astro program would use siderealtime instead of all these variouse Earth or global times. It would be a whole lot less confusing, considering all market places are now global.

bill you don't need to worry about time really, they have a utc (universal time constant) clock in game so any events are synchronized to a single clock not a load of different clocks. you just work out what the in game time is compared to time where you live irl then thats the time difference. well i think that is how it works, i'm seriously not as good with the timey wimey stuff as Duck is
