Engineers Elite Dangerous "Scavenger" A new DataBase of materials for engineers

Thx Assimilator1 for info. I update Thargoid base list. I noticed that you changed the look of your database. [wink]

I know that several Settlements are missing. The main reason is that I focus on efficient harvesting of materials, and the remaining settlements are low-grade material source, in contrast to settlements like Dav's Hope.

M4M / L3M / M2M this is the mark of type planetary bases used in CMDR DJA "Planetary Base" database. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IVPYPqXbqC7pYY2UggEXLSO0CMaE0ksZMB2Ejlh0aYI/edit#gid=0
The first letter specifies size of the base, number of its security level, the last letter specifies the type Planetary Base. L3M (Large, High sec. lvl., Military)

Good luck.

Cool :), err, my database? If you mean my thread, then that often gets edited ;) (although not much recently, been involved with other things lately).

I never said that some settlements are missing, I said that you mis-spelt settlements in your column heading of it for the data sheet, you've written settliments ;).
Thanks for the decode for planetary bases [up]

Btw, re Security Firmware Patches, (something that I need!), I see that your 'Loc 2' column for it is blank, yet I see some people say they can be found at Encoded USSs by inhabited ELWs, is that not in your db because that source is too unreliable? Or has v3 changed it so they are no longer available there?* (I'm going to try those USSs soon to see, unless you already know definitively :)).

*God I hope Fdev hasn't made it even harder! Seeing as it's now used in Experimental effects too!

My poor reading comprehension in English came out :D

In the matter "Security Firmware Patches" search them in USS it will take you a lot of time. Most likely only drop of Beacons.

Currently all M2M planetary bases are gliched. You can scan them every relog and you do not have to wait 2 weeks. They also drop MEFs, you can trade them too Security Firmware Patches ;)

Good Luck.

No probs ;).

And thanks :), not looking forwards to farming for SFP! I don't really want to go planet side, but it's sounding the better choice.....
I keep forgetting about data trading, I may already have something else to trade for them!

Hello all CMDRs.

Today is giving you a new expanded sheet with materials for engineers.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yo1iHP9KUXpoBaIzJsRsDxfAcQa7cBq0YUIFy3m2NII/edit?usp=sharing

The sheet is updated and contains far more data than most websites.

- Information on materials for engineers
- Volcanic Prospecting
- Instalations
- Surface Site
- Thargoids
- Guardians
- USS Guide
- Weapon Experimental Effects
- And links to useful forum topics

I hope it will be a helpful tool for you in your search.

Greeting CMDR "TWH" Galenrog

+Rep. It's just sad that to play the game proper we need someone spending that much time and effort to do what should have been in game since day 1. And we can't even have something as little as codex now or near future just sadden me.

The Codex is coming in Q4 this year. It's at least 3 years too late, but at least we'll get it now... The question remain what it will be. There will be a focused feedback discussion regarding this feature so I'd encourage you to participate and provide some constructive feedback :)

Let me thank you for your efforts, first of all.

Is it possible to indicate the date the document was last updated on the very first post? Would it be too much to ask?

Very nifty!

One request from me: could you add something to the Weapons tab that indicates what color the weapon changes to when using that modification? (via text color perhaps)? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for this GREAT spreadsheet! I use it every time I need anything! Credits for the work you put in.

I went to HIP 16613 and was disappointed not to find the crashed Anaconda. At the given coordinates I only found a SRV. I did some more digging and discovered that the Anaconda's location is a couple of kilometers away from the SRV. The location in your sheet for the "Adaptive Encryptors Capture" and the "Atypical Encryption Archives" should be: HIP 16613 / 1 A -11.009 // -95.675. These coordinates are for the Anaconda crash site itself.

Keep up the good work! Your sheet is up there with INARA and EDDB.

Materials:
Exquisite Focus Crystals : Seems to be quite common as a mission reward for Combat Missions on station requiring protection. Aka Stations under Repair.
Pleiades sector near Maia is a good source of such. Maya B 3 A may be the best choice for high end belt-ratting, although a bit far out. Check in at Pleiades Sector KC-V c2-11 Kipling Orbital for a variety of offers while it's under repair.
Missions may require high rank and good relation (as expected).
