Elite Dangerous | Trailblazers Update 2 - Wednesday March 19

Maybe this is a stupid question, but I thought we can upgrade our facilities, i.e. starting with Tier 1 and then gradually going to 3 but I don´t find anything about it 🤔
not a stupid question per se - but it works like that:
You build Tier 1 Installations and get Tier 2 points for that. Depending on what you want to build (and when) you need two or five Tier 2 points to be able to build a Tier 2 Installation.
Same applies for Tier 3 - if you build a Tier 2 you get 1 (or 2?) Tier 3 points, and for a Tier 3 facility you need 6 or 12 points to be able to start the construction

In Klikis right now, not seeing any trailblazer megaship.
[edit] Its not in the system map, but does appear in the navigation tab.
Yeah that might be a glitch but you have to use Nav panel at the moment to get a lock on the ship.

This is generally the case, except that Settlements seems to be bugged. You can build a medium Settlement and get a T2 point, but it seems they end up as a small once complete. You can use that T2 point to build a large Settlement, and get T3 points, but they end up as a medium once complete. So you get the right Tier points, but the Settlements are one size smaller than the one you placed and contributed materials for.

At least this is the case for all of my 8 Settlements that I've placed. I didn't realise until someone said they couldn't land at one, and I found it had a small pad, even though it was a medium that I built. And before anyone suggests it, no, I didn't make any mistakes, because I've been recording all that I build, including the size and mats used (research for a website currently under construction), and they all match the medium and large that I selected, yet they ended up one size smaller once complete.

Coriolis as primary-port? yeah, the lower numbers you mentioned are for regular ones (placed after primary port finished), primary is ~ +25% Infrastructure-Tax
Are you sure? Some of my squadron mates have complained about increases in secondary structure as well. I've to check

Renaming doesn't work (at least for me). I've tried everything I know to do, filed an issue (several times) and I don't know where else to go with this.
Notes said they fixed it. Frontier still has my 5000ARX but they still won't let me custom name my station. It says it'll do it when I click confirm but persists in not doing so.
If relevant, Tucanae Sector GM-U b3-2, anyone else have this problem?

I had 34% increase for Coriolis as initial structure. I've built additional Coriolis and tier 3 planetary port in the same system, and a load of other things, nothing else has significantly increased beyond the random variation there is in every build.

What tha Hell every 5min Server Conect lose... Can i play today or gona to an other Game ? And hope can came tomorow again? Every Week the same after Server Update there are only problems... Why ?

If you're lucky enough to be in the top third of the bubble anyway.
I think it's a real oversight that these supply megaships don't follow a flight plan and move around the bubble on a regular weekly basis like many other megaships (at least as far as I know). There was no way that five (or even all eight) were ever going to be able to spread themselves fairly around the bubble without being right next to some people's colonisations and hundreds of light years from others.

What kind of homebrewed garage tier servers this company uses that it can't handle a player base that struggles to reach 10000 at best?

One more nice thing about the CG megaships is that the FC hoarders will have to decide which source of Insulating Membranes they have to drain. Settlements or the megaships - they can't do both.

You seem to be missing 13,000 plus players just from the ones who did the Cocijo CG which wasn't everybody playing at the time.

There were 16,000 playing the last CG whilst thousands more were starting colonies.

I don't think they were meant to. There are still regular stations to source from. Further from the bubble you get those megaships may not matter if you have your colonies building what you need. And if no one else drains your supply.

The issue has been raised by players that as the expansions progress outward, the megaships should move with them. Hopefully FDev listened, and not only will move them outward but also spread them more evenly
