Has it ever been confirmed as being a bug?
IIRC it was acknowledged by FDev as in: we'll look into it.

it is now 9:40 UTC in the UK and the launcher is still showing 'play' (although we clearly can't play at the moment) - when does the new client become available to download ?
Considering that they're ammonia-based, hot cocoa would probably just cause them to violently explode as their bodily fluids flash into a vapour. Can't wait! Eager to hand out some free hot cocoa for our insectoid neighbors and humans alike! P.S. Do the Thargoids like marshmallows?
I'm not sure that's entirely true - there's so many previously scanned planets, the conditions for the higher-payout ones are fairly well known, and exobiology is slow enough per-planet that 18 months after release you can still get first discoveries of plants within the inhabited Colonia region. It wouldn't be the same road for everyone, but "pick a random star and give me all the candidates for expensive plants within 50 LY" should be a fairly easy thing for someone to build if they wanted to.The x5 for previously undiscovered things ensures that there will never be a "road to riches" for exobiology
what bugs me tho is lack of any mentions regarding lateral/vertical thruster fix
I still hope that Frontier might reconsider the macOS client, but what in ED's recent development history gives any indication that either of our hopes are likely to be fulfilled? All in, I still hope when Frontier finally has Odyssey in a state that they're happy with, that they "return to console development" and release the "live" game in full on next gen consoles and adds everything they can to "last gen", but for now, NOTHING new for us!![]()
