am all for a good moan but a few hrs delay on an update ..... get some perspective people, it's not like support is being dropped... it is coming just a few mins late.

Hi. I've not been around for a few weeks, but saw posts and videos saying Update 14 is out today. The first post here suggests it should be done by 15:00 but I guess things have been delayed as I don't even have an "Update" button in the launcher yet. Is there a "current state of the update roll-out" somewhere?

Is that only with large ships? I thnk auto-launch for large ships has always been fraught with danger for quite some time.

It happens with my DBX sometimes.

Never had it happen with my DBX thankfully. Autoland and auto launch have only ever caused me issues with larger ships.

humanity used not to have electricity, but this is no excuse when your power goes off, i don't get the point?
we are way past cassete/floppy disk times

sometimes things go wrong yes and a delayed update on hours is no big of a deal(the memes are way more entertaining anyway), but "oh back in the days the internet was 256kbps" has nothing to do with this

Seeing posts from people complaining about the overrun and being 'let down' by FDev kinda made me feel that some perspective is needed. I have not read pages and pages and I know we are all eager to get the update and my original comment and this one are not aiming at any particular poster; it's just a general observation.
I apologise as I wasn't very clear but my intended point was that the scope of the game we play is almost unbelievably huge and, coming from the days of no such thing as internet, I truly appreciate that massive scope and I appreciate that with so much interconnectivity of so many aspects of the game there will be unforseen technical issues occasionally especially with updates such as this.
