Fiction Elite: Legacy

I'm on a holiday in Lapland, and Legacy is eating into my sleep budget. Excellent work Mr Brookes. I expected nothing less after the Fiction Diary videos. The clear vision of the setting makes me feel very secure about the future of the game :)

Thanks!

Michael

Having read most of the way through now, I can add some more.

I'm a lifelong fan of Sci-Fi, as well as a die hard roleplayer and gamemaster. I appreciate how the setting feels like it does in the game, just with added depth and fidelity. The characters are what really sell it though. The interconnections, and the conflicting motivations are superb.

I have wanted to shake your hand and buy you a drink before Michael, and now it's just a higher priority. Bravo :)

Sanderson (and anyone else reading this) - if you find that you need someone to ask for Michael's signature and then post the book on to you then I'm happy to help. I'm *definitely* going.

Brilliant! Let me know if you're definitely going. Thank you.

I AM going... moreover I can get a sig by dropping into FD towers if you're unable to wait until July :) *subject to Michael and I both being in Cambridge at the same time (I'm out and about a lot at the moment)

Either/or :)

I am still working my way throught it, so far it's awesome Michael. I love the fiction based in the ED universe it's a great sign of things that are possible but also highlights just how little content there is in the game. It's always difficult to match a fictional book but I hope they manage it. Also had to visit Freeholm and it's just an outpost right now so with the freeholm in book being an asteroid base it's clear to me that this is planned at some stage.

Got a signed copy of this waiting for me back in UK next week. Would prefer a kindle version to read as I am collecting books. Any time frame on this?

Edit: just saw it is now available from kindle! :)

Yes, I took this as confirmation as well that we're getting asteroid bases any moment. :) I also like the general vision for out-of-ship gameplay. Basically lots of gadgetry and suit functionality.

Best Elite book I've read so far (out of 3).

Just want to say, finished it a few days ago and really enjoyed the story - looking forward to both prequels and sequels!! Well worth the read!!

Please say some of the features you wrote about weren't just fiction!!!!

I was thinking that as well some good stuff in their looks like some of it was from the original DDA.

Just arrived back in the UK and headed up to my folks place... Had a signed copy of Legacy waiting for me! Looking forward to reading this on plane on the way back. :)

Just finished reading last week. Great book! It really conveys the feeling of the game.

I have found some grammatical mistakes. Should I send them to you by PM or list the here, Michael?
