All other formats for ebook are also finally there (just FYI).
Bought it at the store 2 days ago and finished today. A really nice story and well written. It's also the one book that is the closest to the actual game in its descriptions of the universe (all the others are in one way or another too strongly based on FFE or even original Elite and hence pretty far off the mark as far as descriptions go of technology).
The biggest problem I have with it is that whoever proof-read it and approved it for publishing should get a stern talking to because the amount of missing words and misspellings is so large that almost every second or third page has one type of error of another. It's as if no one actually even proofread it at all. Perhaps this is just the epub version...
I'll take a look - feel free to send me any issues you noticed.
Michael
I'm up to chapter 13 with my proofreading pass, Elooder.
Hi Michael
Elite: Legacy arrived on my doormat yesterday in it's paperback form (old school): I have already finished it overnight as I traded on my "Rare's Run".....no sleep!! . A well crafted stonking read, based in one of the best fictional "universes" there is!
.
Thanks for all your hard work in all arena's! PLEASE.... Michael; are there any plans for more Elite based fiction specifically from your pen?![]()
I have to imagine the signed hardback copies are all gone long ago? Long shot I know but, if there's one left I'll take it :d
Yes - but if you're going to Lavecon on the Saturday I'll be there and happy to sign one.
MIchael
I'd love to but, I'm afraid a transatlantic flight this weekend is out of the question![]()
