Here we go:
  • Jaguarundi
  • Coatimundi
  • Kinkajou
  • Agouti
  • Coyote
  • Ocelot
  • Margay
  • Hoffman's Two-Toed Sloth
  • Northern Tamandua

  • Quetzal
  • Harpy Eagle
  • Keel-Billed Toucan

  • Scarlet Macaw
  • American Crocodile
  • Eyelash Viper
  • Painted Wood Turtle

Maybe because Central America's not considered a continent but part of North America?
concept of continents is a made up thing on its own anyway and they don't actually represent continental plates either way
so just north and south america version is no different to north, central and south, its all subjective and political

Now I have counted the votes again. There are a top 10 from the Ocelot to the Central American squirrel monkey, moreover, the number of votes of these animals is over 10. I'm happy, that the votes of my most requested Central American reptile (American crocodile) has grown!

Keep it up! Thank you to everyone who has voted so far! :)

Thanks for your list! 🙂
Sorry, but you added the Paca at twice!

actually just realized i was already missing one and now that second paca is deleted i have 2 more votes?
can i add jabiru stork and king vulture to my list?

I'm not too well versed on Central American animals, but let me give it a try:

  1. Collared Peccary
  2. Mexican Spider Monkey
  3. White Nosed Coati
  4. Agouti (any)
  5. Ocelot
  6. Howler Monkey
  7. Central American Squirrel Monkey
  8. Tayra
  9. Northern Tamandua
  10. Kinkajou
  11. Scarlet Ibis
  12. Scarlet Macaw
  13. Keel-Billed Toucan
  14. Plumed Basilisk
  15. Harpy Eagle
  16. Red Footed Tortoise
  17. Roseate Spoonbill
  18. Lowland Paca
  19. West Indian Manatee
  20. American Flamingo

What an oddly specific topic to create a meta list for. I couldn't even make a list of 25 animals for the regular meta list... not sure I'd do any better with this one...
If you don't want to make a list, don't force it! I am not forcing anyone to write 20 animals for the list, it is just an option.

I made this meta wishlist to at least include certain regions of the Earth, since some regions are still underrepresented in Planet Zoo, and there is not a single New World bird species in the game, which is very worrying. I will not build the North America and Latin America sections of my zoo until the New World birds appear in the game.

I am grateful to Frontier for the Giant anteater listed Central America instead North America in the 1.13.1 update! 😍🙂

I hope, they will make the same with the Columbia white-capuchin monkey, the Jaguar, the Red-eyed tree frog and the Spectacled caiman!

Here's my wishlist of the Central American species I would accept.
  1. American crocodile (like a crocodile rival of alligators)
  2. American flamingo
  3. West Indian manatee
  4. Coati
About the exhibit types that were small enough to wouldn't mind habitat-size spaces like snakes, lizards and insects, I couldn't think of the ones that could last and breed in captivity.

I agree about the Capuchin Monkey, but Jaguar, Spectacled Caiman and Red-Eyed Tree Frog are also found in North America, according to both Classifications. All 3 can be found in the North American part of Mexico, and in the case of the Caiman, also Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, which is NA.

By the way, I was surprised you didn't include my Common Basilisk Vote in the Basilisk Type Group, along with the Plumed Basilisk. I guess it was a simple Oversight?

1. Jaguarundi
2. Ocelot
3. Scarlet Macaw
4. Blue-And-Gold Macaw
5. Keel-Billed Toucan
6. Collared Peccary
7. Humboldt's Squirrel Monkey
8. Resplendent Quetzal
9. Cotton-Top Tamarin
10. Black Howler
11. White-Necked Jacobin
12. Hercules Beetle
13. Scarlet Ibis
14. Eyelash Viper
15. Roseate Spoonbill
16. King Vulture
17. Harpy Eagle
18. White-Nosed Coati
19. Yellow-Naped Amazon
20. Great Curassow

At now, the Ocelot was dethroned by Macaws and the White-nosed coati!

The great popularity of Macaws it's good news for me, because I miss the New world birds in the Planet Zoo. In my zoo (Sandbox) due to the lack of birds, I'm not building the North American and Latin American sections yet.

I hope, that the Central American animal wishlist draws Frontier's attention to expanding the range of Central American animals, especially birds.

The wishlists from me are continent-based, that this could be used to expand the animals of different geographical regions. I made the European animal wishlist, so if you like, join there too! :)

I modifed the rules, since from now on, maximum number of personal animal wishlist are 25, and the Caribbean animals can also be entered!

I added to my wishlist the Desmarest's hutia, the Bee humminbird, the Cuban crocodile, the Rhinoceros iguana and the Cuban amazon. You can do it too, if you think! :)

Accidentally posted twice, deleted this old one. Man I really wish we had more Amazon representatives in game.
