Expand the station hub

I'm probably just talking to myself on this one but why not post it.

We have various systems and stations with various economies.

So why not diversify the hubs?
An agriculture economy would have a green house, or even more plants.
A mining station would be a bit more dirty and dusty, rocks and stuff. (Add a mini game for prospecting, find gems or so you can sell at the bar)
A high tech station would have some kind of Holo games. (anyone want to play Elite 1?)
A tourist or leisure station would have a casino for example. (With blackjack only, no H.....s). Good way to use up some of that cash we made.

If you nedd more ideas, reach out to the community, Fdev. Happy to provide ideas.

I know we can't even order a drink at the bar, so the odds of getting anything like this is slimmer than a snowball's chance in hell, but worth an idea.
 
They're actually adding some economy specific details to stations in Update 7. Probably not as detailed as you want though. Check out the next dev update.
 
What? Where? Did I miss one?
On stream they showed some images that concourses are getting new colours based on economies. Although the thing they showed has been in-game literally since alpha phase 1.
Also, high tech concourses will have fewer plants in update 7. That's the only actual change I've seen.

In one of the multi-verse there is people there whining because they got walking about ships but can't walk on planets.

I mean there should be some update/redesign of some stations/station types.

but they really need to just make it feel more real.. and part of that I feel is that they need to be simpler, in some aspects.

right now everything feel overly elaborate and overdesigned. like a Michael Bay Transformer where you have all these moving parts but they just create visual noise and start to raise more questions than anyone can answer when you think about it.

1. Big time. But let's not go there, as the lore people would be upset for changing their 1000 year old cube design. Or a bigger mail slot.

2. The concept is good, but the execution lacks finesse. When I walk through a concourse, it feels like everything is frozen in time. People don't walk around, there are no tourists with pets, or kids... It just lacks the atmosphere of it being alive. Then again, the same goes for the "living galaxy".
In its current state, even the good old privateer had more life with its static pictures to click and visit. And that game is 28 years old. Despite it being set in the year 2669 vs us being in 3306. Just my opinion.
