Should I sell data at nearest point or take to Palin, cant get rid of cargo rescued some poor people whose shop crashed. Dropped out powerplay that was a good idea. Don't think I will be chased out here.
Worked out when to engage high jump, when fuel scoop disengages and planet stalk on radar moves to 2nd circle away, getting faster now...
Sod the poor people whose ship crashed, their salvaged cargo could be the death of your ship too!
Personally, in your case (what I did to get Palin's data, I landed at Fu station, I had all my fleet parked there, so changed from my Asp to my Python. I then went through the list of exploration data totting up each page. Once I had my total I deducted off what Palin needed & kept that amount & knowing how much of the remainder I could sell, I spread it around just getting to allied at each station then moving on.
When I only had Palin's value left, I plotted (using only 0 population systems) a route straight to Palin's system & jump, scoop, jump etc... my way there, with no interference from NPC's & I never play in open when travelling.
My way was partly due to not wanting to pewpew & even if I was 'dicted & lost the mini game, I would keep boosting until I could 'Brave Sir Robin' it away.
Other players are better adapted to pewpew thanme though.
If you're confident to do it as described then do it, just bear in mind that if you lose your ship, you'll have to do another trip to get that value of data again
