Farming exploits?

I spent half a year at R5 with ALD and made awesome money out of it. :)

Well then, it has certainly cost you a lot more than nothing. ;) I too am at R5 with Aisling Duval and have been for the 60 weeks I have been pledged to that power, and it always costs more than the 50 Million salary each week to maintain that rank and participate in the required fortifications, expansions required etc.

I've never found the process to be profitable since the salary is less than the expenses incurred if you actually support the power's efforts instead of dropping stuff at the wrong system because its the closest. ;)

Once again, yes, if you want to fast track everything, you will pay for it. But the thing with ALD is... even if you use your salary for that, the bonuses allow you to earn quite a hefty sum of money on the side.
Aisling's BGS bonus doesn't do the trick, though. Choices. :)

Good one.

Why exactly are you farming for hours and hours a day? How many credits a day are you spending? Wouldn't it be more fun to do something... fun?
There are fun parts of the game that can earn you money. And you will have fun earning them.

What is your time plan? What are you planning to do after you earned all the money? Do you think you will have fun after that?

Someone has to spout this in.every.single.thread.about.credits.

"enjoy the game bla bla"

Since when is enjoying a game something to scoffed at and avoided?

If you are not having fun, then it is likely time to move on.

What are you doing to farm credits? Im using a type 9 and soloing wing cargo missions making decent money that way.

You could be making A LOT more money soloing "solo" cargo missions from extraction economies. But yes, you have to actually go out and LOOK for the right systems...

But have fun anyway!

The Prismatics were more important at the time. The awesome community involved with this power is why I am still here 60 weeks later. :)

Lastly... With 5.8 Billion CR in liquid assets at the moment, the money isn't that big a deal. My point was simply that PP can cost a heck of a lot more $$ than PvP. ;)

Cheers.

If we want to discuss "ought", the game ought to be such that credits are something we seek so we can play the game how we want. There ought to be a goal that we are trying to achieve, not a community "haul x number of Y to station Z" goal, but more like "There is a medical transport ship 5500LY out of Sol that has a ruptured fuel tank, needs repairs and fuel. There's no payout to take this mission other than knowing the those on the ship need your help and you might make some business contacts for future business opportunities" Then the ship needs to be there, interact with you and perhaps show in your log that you rescued it. It could take a solo commander days to make limpet repairs and fuel transfers (refueling at the star), but it would be yours. That could get expensive, so you need the cash cow moments to fund those kinds of operations. If that scenario unfolded, it would repeat ad nauseum and you'd see 18 offerings for the same basic mission in every other station. Unfortunately the cash cow moments are the only operations worth considering these days. So we're making more cash so we can buy more ships so we can engineer more stuff so we can have better builds so we can make more cash.

Don't call them murder, just suspect, per 'user agreement'. When someone has to fine tune the 'terms' really means stay away from me.
It isn't fine tuning the terms, griefer is just so common a misnomer Webster is probably going to change the definition to suit popular opinion. Be fun to see how many players have actually read the Terms of Use.
Oh, and it so is murder lol.

You are describing a different game, maybe you made a mistake in the purchase? or maybe you want to find a modable game you can put your gameplay in? did you try to push that 'other' game forum too?

This is not playing the game how you want, this is playing the game that you want.
