FD, can we all get sirius permits?

As stated in the operation sirius business post on reddit, the operation is leaving the Procyon system alone for the purpose of being able to get permit and access to engineers. You can all go home now :p

I got my permit just fine so not sure what the issue is, the systems were all in lockdown but still managed to get the permit.
I'm betting that you were at one of the stations not controlled by Sirius Corp.

Which makes trying to attempt stopping players from getting permits pretty pointless.

Sirius Corp are currently out of lockdown. Due to the pending and recovering periods for every state, it is not possible for players to keep a system permenantly in lockdown.

At the very least, there will be one day recovery and one day pending, so that's a two day window for anyone who wants the permit and engineer unlock mission to obtain them.

Even if they miss this opportunity, at the end of the next lockdown period, there will be another two day window to obtain the desired permits.

that one group of people are going to make it impossible to get to the engineer there. your fault for making it possible to do that. move the engineer, remove the permit, or give everyone the permit, otherwise the people who're wrecking sirius corp are going to be the last to be able to engineer power distributor, seems like some OP to me, should be sorted.

Stop whining. Systems are flipped all the time. States change. People can UA bomb or blockade or whatever they want. Besides, if you want to blame someone, blame the author who decided to add lore that drops Sirius in the proverbial. ;)

This isn't Frontier's issue to resolve.

"Sirius Business intends to just work the system. Let you get your sirius permits and such. While I, a Pirate of sorts, Do not find this very "Fun" and would much rather laugh in the face of your despair as you try and fail to unlock the Sirius Permit! (As much hate and salt mining as I will get for this.) Maybe then, You'll ask why I am doing this.

Maybe, after realizing that you and others cannot get the Sirius Permit, you too will want to join my crusade for not only for lore, but out of protest of permits as a whole."

you think we have nothing better to do than read reddit?

incidentally, the whole thread, and the action against sirius permit, is all pointless. FD wont change it, because then a crack in the door will be open to being forced wider and wider until the whole permit system breaks down - and that will include demands to remve all permit locked out of bubble systems and sectors, which we know FD want locked for future content reasons. the whole thing thus reminds me of those kids who want to open their christmas presents as soon as their parents get them and long before christmas day; and inevitably who then complain ON christmas day if they have no presents to open.

It's more the result of players just using any excuse to cause trouble. I doubt that any of those who work against Sirius have read Premonitions.

I fought against the lockdown and haven't read Premonitions. So it can go both ways. (I only haven't bought it yet because it hasn't shown up on Amazon. All of my books are in my Amazon library.)

The people opposing Sirius are adding content to the game. Their attempt to disrupt the Sirius permit has been a failure. My alt got the permit yesterday among the "chaos". The sky isn't falling.
