FDEV Ignoring TheYamiks as a Core Creator, Your thoughts on the matter.

Few care if this character has to pay for their own key.

I'm neither a Yamiks fan nor am I a hater. But I can say that when it comes to gaming commentary, there is value in knowing someone making a video isn't a total shill for a billion dollar corporation. So he has that going for him.

So a little thread about TheYamiks, the second biggest content creator for Elite yet was refused a review key as they where "limited" for their core creators.

What is your thoughts on the matter........

If this is in the wrong section, instead of being deleted can it be moved to the correct section.

He's such an obnoxious and toxic figure who releases nothing but vitriolic videos full of purile crude "humor" ridiculing the game and insulting the company and its staff that I'm not surprised he has been excluded.

Yep. I don't think any such key to the alpha really exists and he/Fedv might have confused press access to the game release (which he didn't qualify for anyway because 1. not a core creator and 2. his content!).

The alpha is the alpha. Why would FDev run it for some people and not for others? It's not like the alpha is full access on day one anyway - meaning you can't review it because it's not fully featured - because it's staged in four, week long gated sections.

He's not been excluded by anything, he has only blurted out insults repeatedly, to then knock on the door and ask for something that no one else had received. For free.

I kind of thought it was all the same video, with just a different title on it...

They all blend into one after a while.

I mean really why does anyone care that someone who makes money posting videos about this game has to spend some of that money to make more videos of the game so he can make more money!!
