Fighter pilots gotta have someone they love, right?

Hey all, just popped into the intro forum and am currently attempting to prove I am a real person. Speaking of real people, as a pilot IRL I like to post pictures all over my cockpit of family, friends, loved ones, pets, and things to that nature (trust me, a big role of scotch tape is always in my flight bag). I was wondering if that would be an interesting thing to have in the cockpit? maybe buy something like a small piece of tape or a photo frame or something in the frontier store, upload a photo to it, and stick it somewhere in the cockpit? we've got flashing Christmas lights, and bobble heads, why not throw a personal photo in there? maybe even as a top for a bobble-head.

TL;DR Put personal photos in cockpit?

Thoughts would be greatly appreciated. as I am new, I have no idea if this idea has already been shot down, or if I'm in the right forum.

This is an interesting idea, not sure if anyone has shot it down already. Try moving/reposting to 'Suggestions and Feature Requests' in 'Dangerous Discussion'.

I could see it being done as say cosmetic items from the store (plushie Thargoids, maybe some pre designed images in frames, that sort of thing) but I can't see Frontier going for us uploading our own images - I've only seen a few games do it in a limited fashion.

It would require Frontier staff be allocated to approve each upload, as the game is rated for 7yrs +, and the "Multi-crew" function means other players could be exposed to any uploaded images, so they'd have to be approved as audience appropriate.

Its a cool idea, though.

As an Aircraft engineer IRL, I despair at the pilots like you
Much time is spent removing adhesive from the glareshield or consoles because the pilot after you made an entry in the cosmetic defect log about sticky or dirty marks on the cockpit surfaces [big grin]

Bahaha! I'm sorry. I do find it better than pulling a Rocketeer and sticking gum everywhere. Gotta root for you guys having to deal with flyguys like me. The real MVPs. [yesnod]

Very true. maybe at an angle where only the pilot could see it or something. huh. Back to the drawing board. I posted this as well in the suggestions after i found out it existed. Thanks for the insight!

Real pilots fly helicopters. Just sayin'.

I like my chosen aircraft's glide ratio compared to yours, but thanks all the same. :D

BTW, love your ship and name. Nice to meet another. Remember the Cant!

Your glide ratio may be better, but I can autorotate almost anywhere and survive. I also have a fixed wing rating. I prefer helicopters. But that’s just me.

Reading the latest Expanse book right now. Such an amazing series.
