I have a Corvette!

Atleast not yet, still engineering it, and deciding on a weapon system.
Currently have two C4 PAs, and all pulse lasers (from storage).

Run out of cash for the remaining modules, so I'll need to run some missions.

I only had about 10 minutes to fly it, but I took an Assassination Mission, which turned out to be a shieldless cobra.

And I one shotted it with my PAs.


Highly satisfying. :D

But that jump range... Lol

Congrats, just remember to have enough for the rebuy!

I recently got my Cutter and Vette, only spent a short time in the Vette as I'm out exploring at the moment but looking forward to getting back in when I come home :)

Congratulations. Yeah, the jump range isn't great, even after a decent mod. But it's much less painful after a visit to Farseer.

Wait until you get it engineered properly and become skilled at flying it....

It's a beast, easily the best combat ship in the game if done and used right.

i try to do it not to often, and for this reason ive got a second corvette parked in Merope.

Tbf, once you engineer the A rated FSD to grade 5, the 17-18ly jump isn't that bad for traversing the bubble or your local area of operations.

Update!

I dragged her to the Farseer, it was 14 jumps from LHS 30 (I think). Lol
Bit of a shock coming from a DBX with 56ly range. Lol
I flew her manually, despite only having stock 7E shields, and a complete lack of power to bring the weapons and defences online. (8E pp was a bit pants!)

Anyhoo, that only took 15 minutes, then I docked in Decait, and transferred in all my stored modules I needed, while I flew down to the Farseer and tuned up to FSD, thrusters, & sensors.
Ended up with an ok roll on DD3 (340~m/s). And a 'meh' roll on the FSD, but that brought it up to 17.8ly.

Once that was done, I docked back and ran that assassination mission, with a severely gimped Corvette (I basically had everything turned off to bring the twin PAs online. Lol)
Roasted the cobra in one hit (technically two, I missed the first volley!).
Then returned to Decait, docked, installed a pre-modified 7A power plant, and some modded pulse lasers, brought everything online (bar 1 SCB, but I rare use 2 anyway).

And named her;

Firestorm

After another Sega Mega Drive classic.

And now I'm at work, so I won't get to mess around in it until Monday. Boo!

If I decide to keep her, I'll buy a fancy paintjob, but currently, I don't really like what's available, so she's just grey. Boring old grey. Lol

I only have 40,000,000cr in my account now. Or two rebuys (currently sitting at 15~mil)
Or 1 for my Anaconda. (22mil!)
