Finaly activity on Steam DB. ;)

We can't have a Gravitron in a DLC because we already had one in RCT3. Why should the Devs implement one and the same ride in two of their games and not adding really new stuff. Makes no sense at all :p:LOL:

But we had the looping (O) ride in RCT3. And the Tilt-A-Whirl. And carousel and ferris wheel. There are a bunch of rides in Planet Coaster that were in RCT3. And there are some rides in RCT3 that aren't in Planet Coaster, yet.

Officially debunked.. Boo..

Actually, they didn't deny anything. They only said they didn't have anything to announce right now. This does not mean they are not working on anything. It simply means they will announce stuff as soon as it is ready to announce.

It is interesting how black and white the forum is. The Community interprets activity on Steam as a DEFINITE sign, but as soon as the Community Mangers state that there is nothing to announce yet, some do a complete 180 and conclude there is nothing in the works.

Just... patience :D

The dev branches indicate that something is near. They have been updating the changenumber since July and August. dev_release and dev_final usually happen right before a DLC is announced. We just have to wait and see what happens. There aren't any unknown apps on the DLC list yet.

"Nothing to announce right now" has always been their line when dealing with imminent updates which as always translated to "we have something to tell you, just not yet" - every time, without fail.

I've got the feeling, that tomorrow (usually it was on tuesdays) they'll announce something with a trailer or sthg... :) There were so many changes the last days, it looks like they're really finished with it :)

Noooo... You'd usually see a good few weeks of activity on SteamDB before you get any sort of announcement. I've seen it as many as 7 weeks (I was counting). An announcement tomorrow is just wishful thinking.

If anything, it will be anniversary related.. So, expect it to drop first or second week of November.. assuming that something is actually coming and it isn't just a patch.

I really wish they would make a steep drop flume with a large boat, sort of like Armada but with the ability for steep drops and no rail to guide the boats, most giant flumes the boats float freely in the water and are propelled by the water. I know there's Cascade but it's not the same thing. I'm talking a giant flume with a trough as a drop, not an open track. And wide water channel and boats like Armada but no guide rail.

Or how about an option to disable the red error that occurs when a track section won’t work, like when you try to autocomplete a section. A steep drop would work on Armada if that were disabled and you had the autoconnect where it would generate a track segment for you when hovering over it. But, currently it won’t let you place a steeper drop that forms with the autoconnect even though it shows what the steeper drop would look like. And I really like the look of the Zero Gravity ride in RCTW, like citytrader said that would be a neat addition to the game. Zero Gravity is just another name for G....you know. Cfcharley’s fake version is nice, but just doesn’t cut it. We need a working version that guests can ride. To me, RCTW sucks, but it has some rides that were in RCT3 that didn’t make it into Planet Coaster yet, like the sky swing and a normal giant wheel with square cabins. So Frontier made the RCT3 rides but not the RCTW versions of them? The RCTW versions are true 3D models like Planet Coaster, but default RCT3 rides are 2D planes.

I hope that if we do get a DLC within two months that it is another rides pack rather than a scenery or movie pack. There are still rides and coasters that are missing. And they could make new vehicles for existing rides, like the chairlift, how about classic versions of the chairs and cabins like 1970’s? There are quite a few flats that they could make. Like a Huss Ranger, Trabant/Wipeout, Huss Swing Around, Triple Tree wheel if possible, Sky Swing, Slingshot, kiddie rides, Thunder Bobs. How about a dinghy slide? Then we would at least have a ride that’s like a water slide.

It would be great if they release a kiddie rides DLC or even better a Planet Snoopy rides DLC. We will just have to wait and see what all the activity is on Steam DB will be.

I'm hoping for a rides pack too,tho with different rides like a powered coaster,an omnimover ala haunted masnion(disney) and maybe a powered suspended coaster ala arthur at europapark.

Just noticed this on the Steam Workshop page (don't know how long it's been there). Hasn't this usually been a placeholder for incoming imminent DLC?
