Notice Fleet Carrier Update - Known Issues

Thanks. Weird it's not on this list. And it's a minor issue according to FDEV :D
In the ED community, every activity is a niche activity ;)

There's a couple of threads in the BGS section, one has had an official response that seems dismissive, but according to the front page of this forum Devs have read it as it is updated.

So they are aware.

I think updating the OP of this thread would be useful, with a Dev post added to the thread linking to the OP each time it's done so people can see that their feedback is being taken onboard.

I have been completely put off buying a FC because a) the maintenance costs; this is supposed to be a game, not a chore, and nor is it a lifestyle choice; b) yet another grind to get Tritium fuel.

No way I'm doing that. Don't get me wrong, the models are great and the concept is good; I would love a FC. But until you make it less of a burden, I'm just not doing it.

Like I said, this is a game, not a chore.

That would be stupid if we could remotely transfer tritium. How would that even be done? Teleportation technology? If it's teleportation, what's the point of even having a spaceship? And then they'd have to make all commodities remotely transferrable. Terrible idea.
We have a crew there, they can reload fuel from cargo to tank.

I think I've read this elsewhere but yesterday I did a 498ly jump in my fleet carrier with my Corvette safely stowed aboard. Looking at the galaxy map showed the FC and my Corvette about 498ly's apart. Odd as I was still in the FC hangar. So I left the FC, jumped into supercruise and found there was no FC to return to. It was indeed 498 ly's away.

So the FC jumped, I was on board but didn't jump. I believe I plotted the course via my Corvette then went into FC management to repeat. Then something obviously went wrong.

I had to call it back so a b****y waste of 600 tons of Trit I could have done without!

What chores? This is the 34th Century. robots do it. and it one cant afford a Fleet Carrier, and decades of up keep costs, one cant afford it, its not for little people.

Ye, been since patch day all randomly. Cant handle the amount of ppl playing atm. And starts to kick ppl out of the game randomly when new ones log in. Nothing from devs on anything, they just sit there on their twitter and doing screenshot contest and other poopoo...
I think it is a shame how FD is behaving right now. You could at least say okay we're working on it. But saying nothing at all is not acceptable.

What makes me more angry other then they stay quiet, is that they post on twitter, having picture contest of "nice planets" and "your fc pictures"
Seems more important then adressing the players that they working on it, looking at it. And that a "patch" will come asap.. But nooo... Lets take the money kinda, go on vacation, come back to odessy thats gonna brake the game 100 times more, if they manage this with simple FC, then i dont wanna know what happens when odessy comes!
