I would like in Odyssey for Frontier to add underground Salt Mines with high security that murderers get sent to as punishment instead of just paying off a fine which is easy to do these days. One would need to mine 1000 t of salt by hand (with a shovel of course) before they are released.

BTW: if I try to exit the game a few minutes before the update/maintenance (even the regular one) it ALWAYS ends with endless black screen (PC).
Like now. And I had allegedly 3 minutes to "galaxy shutdown".

Come on people let's get the patch before criticising the team. Having said that if the patch is delayed again then I do think all FC jumps should be free until it's fixed. The ability to have some kind of FC fuel scoop, scooping fuel from certain stars or gas giants would be very welcome in the future, I'd happily pay ap to another billion for one, yes I know that's not possible for some CMDR's so unfortunately you'd have to continue mining or buying tritium, sorry

Well I got kicked out with Mauve Adder at 11:45 BST and can't get back in as "Your client is too old" but with no options direct or via steam to update.

Not the best start to what is supposed to be a patch at 12:00 BST

I am getting flashbacks to being a kid again waiting for Christmas....only to open what I think is a fresh pair of Nike trainers I wanted, and finding out I’ve got a pair of Hi-tek rip offs!

I so hope it’s the Nikes though....

I think they may have started earlier. I got an in-game warning of "down in 20 mins" at 11:25

Never dreamed about closing as kid :D How is it possible at all, to want piece of it badly. It's just thing you need to do tasks - go and get what you need.

@bigcee75 - perhaps that's what the original F. C. support vessels were meant for, that were mentioned before the great F. C. Implementation delay. Who knows perhaps they will yet see light of day.

I have a slight hope there will be something new offered, some QoL for carriers like multiple jump points. And at the same time I dread what will be broken again.

Well if this patch is as I think it will be, mining may get better but prices will stay the same, which would mean back to Painite for me as with the price difference being so small the quicker mining of Paintite would make that the best option

I believe something is needed, a fuel scoop or support ship. I still don't understand why they did away with them but in all honesty the game would probably be in a worse state than it is right now if every FC had another vessel along side
